12 year old Billy Gilman made his debut with the top 20 country hit "One Voice." Twas a nice song.
Too bad for him he was among the dropped artists when Sony cleaned their country roster.

I always thought that Billy Gilman was a woman.
See? Another 12 year old releasing albums! Poor kid. Probably missed out on the joys of being young: Red Rover, Pokeman, sex ed class, and, well... that's about all he'll miss.

I never really cared too much for this song. Actually, I never really cared too much for Billy Gilman period. Why was this kid making records at 12 years old. Don't the parents of these kids have anything better to do with their lives than to force their kids to live out the parents' own unrealized dreams? Just to add on, this has nothing to do with Billy Gilman, but it does have to do with "too young singers." I was watching a show called "Child Star Babylon" on VH1 recently...about a lot of the child stars of the past and how their lives crashed and burned after the spotlight faded... They also showed a segment about this 5 year old kid whose father is pushing him into being a rapper/singer/actor. Of course, the kid is saying "This is what I want to do." And the dumbass Dad had this to say, "I've heard all the stories about the troubles of child stars in the past, but I don't care. I know my son and I know he's got what it takes..." The guy even quit his job so he could manage his son's career...even though there isn't an actual career yet. All I can say is what a poor child.
