One hit wonder from the 80's, but could you really call this a hit? Peaked @ #35, 2 weeks on Pop. I think they were reunited on some VH1 program recently. Maybe they're 1/2 or 1/4 hit wonders.

I thought their one hit wonder song was the earlier single "Never Say Never (I Might Like You Better If We Slept Together)"?
Guess they were a 2-song wonder then.

You know, they used to play the video for "Never Say Never" on MTV all the time, but that track didn't have much (any?) success on the Billboard Hot 100. I remember "A Girl in Trouble," especially because it seemed so much "smoother" than "Never Say Never" in terms of production and just plain overall quality.

Never Say Never was the bigger modern rock hit in 1982 when there was no chart. A Girl In Trouble was a tamer version of this band which got them onto the charts.

Heard this for the first time a few days ago while I was researching songs for the 1984 episode of The Book Club's "The Book Of Rock". It's nothing special, but much better than the awful "Never Say Never".
