This has been confirmed to be the 2nd single from their album, "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb".
The video was shot this past week in New York.

It's better than Vertigo.

I like it a lot.
Hopefully, "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" gets released as well.

I like it but it's not really a complete song for me. It doesn't seem to have the qualities a single should have. I'd give it a C+.

It's a pretty good follow-up, it sounds like a couple other songs they did earlier to me, but I can't really put my finger on which ones at the moment.

ever since basically... "All That You Can Leave Behind" U2 has been below par to their other material, they've had some good song, but overall, the albums have lacked polish.

I never really liked U2 until ATYCLB. I wrote them off as just another rock band back in 1995 when 'Hold Me...' was a single... but back then I didn't really know their songs and only knew them as a well-known band. In 1997, they released 'Pop' and I didn't like the singles from that either. It was until after that that I truly realized the impact that U2 has had on music in their career so by their 'All That You Can't' CD, I was able to appreciate them more. I bet if 'Discotheque' was released now, I'd probably love it.

I never really liked U2 until ATYCLB. Same here, though I didn't start getting into them until that awesome "Elevation"! As for "All Because Of You", I like it, but it's not as good as "Vertigo".
