I was just wondering if songs that go on to win the Play it side of the votes end up getting anywhere as a result or if it's just curiousity. Do the songs get more airplay on VFM or something? I think they should at least get added. It's a good determiner to find out what songs to add to VFM's "official playlist".

If they're going to add based on these results, I think they would need to set a minimum number of votes cast. If a song has 100% "PLAY," but only two votes cast, it's not as impressive as a song with 75% "PLAY" with 30 votes cast. Just my two cents' worth!

Honestly, I'm not certain that winning or losing "Play It Or Trash It" is a deciding factor on what gets played on VFM. I think the MDs just put on there whatever songs they like or what songs are suggested to them. And then the various DJs play what they want to play. During the times I broadcast, I play what I want to, no matter if I'm the only one who said "Play it" for a certain song. ....Because I'm just a rebel like that.

That would be cool (playing the winning songs in play or trash) Cause you see, I have 20 songs in my chart (and many more not on it) that are singles and as any other song, deserve to be played, but everyone just plays the same. ARGH! this topic always makes me mad

I agree with Jason. People are gonna play whatever they want On-Air. It's just a fact. I mean, it would take a [glow=red,2,300]MIRACLE[/glow] for Jess to play some Lil' Jon for ya.

I would definitely trash alot more stuff, if PIOTI decided what was played on Variety 104.
