Rogers owned 105.3 KISS FM Ottawa (HotAC) has added more Urban to its playlist in the past couple of weeks. The move no doubt comes as a result of its poor performance in the recent summer ratings.
Recent adds to current: KESHIA CHANTE -- Bad Boy USHER -- Yeah NEWSCHOOL -- Alright JANET JACKSON -- All Nite (Don't Stop)
Recent adds to recurrent/gold: NELLY -- Hot In Herre NELLY -- Ride Wit Me
KISS FM rival HOT 89.9 continues to add more rock to its rhythmic leaning playlist.
Recent adds to current: YELLOWCARD -- Ocean Avenue AVRIL LAVIGNE -- My Happy Ending
Recent adds to recurrent: LINKIN PARK -- Numb FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE -- Stacy's Mom
One has to wonder if Ottawa is going to wind up having two stations that sound exactly the same by the end of the summer.

So there are basically two pop stations there now? Or soon to be.
I guess radio stations across the country are realizing people still want all kinds of music on one station (I am one of those). Just look at how decent Edmonton's 96X is doing.
