I thought of an idea to promote Globalchart/M4B. Bryan used to do this on occasion. It's to do an audio show of a portion or the whole Globalchart. I know of a service called Radiowave, and we could syndicate it. As a result, we could have more people posting their charts on M4BCC and more traffic to the boards because of giving out information about the boards and people wanting to hear their favorite songs get on. I know from Radiowave that we could get FM stations to broadcast. I used to be on a show that a Hot AC station in Canada and a Rhythmic station in Rochester wanted (that show is now not recorded anymore.) Anyways, what do you think of this idea?

I think it would be a good idea to do something like this on a weekly basis.

Yes I like the idea too - but who would take on this huge task?

I think it's a good idea. However, I like how our community is right now. Devoted and loyal contributors who post almost every day and make M4B what it is. If a bunch of randoms come post for about 2-3 weeks and then just leave, the whole shi-band could end up worthless

If i were to give my totally go ahead to this idea, i have to be with Roger's camp for now... If we get new members, they'd have to go entirely into the whole environment and not limit themselves to one or two different forums, and a short while later dissapear. That frustrates me a little, that some people forget about us after short time.

Okay, so I'm just coming across this topic now...about two months after it was created. But, better late than never, right? I've been here at the M4B for almost two months now (Kinda hard to believe it's been that long!), and everything I see pleases me. I think you folks are awesome. Now, getting back on topic, about this topic...I say go for it. I think it's a fantastic idea. I'd love an opportunity to hear the songs I enjoy on some kind of countdown. As was mentioned before, the chart here is awesome, and it would be very nice to be able to listen to it. I think it would be more rewarding this way, than just seeing the songs on the chart. However, I do realize that this is a huge task. I know we all have different things going for us, and it would be asking a lot for one person to give up their time to contribute to making this idea happen. Here's that I think: Have the chart get chopped up into maybe 10 or so songs, and ask a member to do one section, etc. There are some folks, like myself, who will unfortunately never be able to partake in this (my excuse is that I don't have a mic, and am a computer dunce), but I'd definitely listen. With that said...I hope this actually happens!!! ;D
