Hold the phone, where was I when Anastacia dropped that? OK better late than never I guess. Double dose of Celine so far We'll see those on my year-end, but how high up?

It's " Now Or Never" Anastacia was my Spotify Wrapped #1 artist of 2023 - I guess I listened to her album more than I realized Yay Celine!

70 - 5 Seconds Of Summer - "Bad Omens"
Yep, the boys are still around! I'm so glad I went to the One Direction concert back in the day (but it was only to see these guys live!) and I've been the biggest fan since. Such fun concerts. Another catchy one from them. 69 - Troye Sivan - "Rush"
What's this? Two Aussies in a row? Yep, here's Troye's lead single from the new album. It was a pretty good! And cheeky, as Tryoe does, well. No, this song is not about being in a hurry 68 - Tiesto feat. Tate McRae - "10:35"
This song is one of those songs where I can't imagine anyone else's voice but Tate's being featured on it. Tiesto appeared at #63 on my 2021 year-end with "The Motto" feat. Ava Max. Tate appeared on last year's year-end chart at #6 with "She's All I Wanna Be". 67 - Sophia Scott - "No You Didn't"
Definitely my watch-out country artist over the past two years, I was absolutely loving this one from Sophia. It's my 6th-favourite country song of the year She also had a song jusssst miss out on this year-end chart called "Red Dress", but this one makes it in and gives her her first ever year-end chart entry! 66 - Cole Swindell (feat. Jo Dee Messina) - "She Had Me At Heads Carolina"
Well, well. Who would've thought I'd have Cole Swindell on my 2023 bingo card? Well, here he is! I saw this song was #1 on the M4BCC country chart for quite some time, so thought I'd better check it out, and sure enough, I loved it! Originally the song by him, and then again when Jo Dee joined in (as she first made this part-song-title famous in 1996) Clues65 - This US singer-songwriter is huge right now, but she's no champion 64 - This Aussie singer/drummer is wondering if she's meeting expectations 63 - This Canadian artist has a light in her head that she turns on and off 62 - A British singer-songwriter said no 61 - This Japanese-British artist feels like a dog with a frisbee sometimes

65 - Taylor Swift - "Anti-Hero"
Another catchy one from Tay-Tay! Unsurprisingly, this isn't her only entry in my Year-End chart 64 - G-Flip - "Good Enough"
This is the first song I've liked from G-Flip! And it's only a recent charter, so may do well into the new year. She really goes for it on the vocals! 63 - Carly Rae Jepsen - "Psychedelic Switch"
Oooo, here's Carly! She once took out one of my Year-End charts with "Your Type"! This isn't as high as that was, but she's definitely still around with her catchy tunes. 62 - Etham - "I Won't"
Well we all know my current love for Etham, and it's not a boy-crush like it was with Scott Helman This guy is just sooooo talented! That should be obvious, as he has my current #1 with a different song. 61 - Rina Sawayama - "Catch Me In The Air"
What a catchy tune this was from Rina! Still so happy I got to see her perform this live in January Coming up!
60 - This Aussie artist asks her heart to stay with his 59 - A Western Australian artist gives us his take on a common teenage female catch-phrase in this song title 58 - This US artist must have watched 'Twilight' (which probably came out before she was born) 57 - This Wisconsin artist noticed that the nightclub had closed 56 - Two Californian artists collab'd on this song where one hoped the other would return

"Anti Hero" by Taylor Swift went to #1 on my chart at the end of 2022 and carried over for a week in 2023.

60 - Blake Rose - "How Do We Stay In Love?"
The first song I've heard from this fella, and mmmm ahhhhh mmmm-mmm (those are some of the lyrics ) So heartfelt, and he hits a few high notes as the song progresses. It's still charting on my personal chart. 59 - Iann Dior - "You Don't Even"
Normally I would hear the first few chords of a song like this and would skip it, but I must havebeen distracted or something at the time, and I was like, "You know what? This isn't too bad!" It's one of those ones where the lyrics are just goooooood. It must be a bit better than mumble-rap if it made my Top 20 58 - Olivia Rodrigo - "Vampire"
Well, look who it is again! Olivia! This is her highest charting song for me on this year's Year-End chart (she also appeared at #93 and #92 with "Can't Catch Me Now" and "Get Him Back!" respectively), which means her new album wasn't quite as good as her debut one for me, but still, nothing to sneeze at! This was a decent lead single, and it was so good to hear her back so soon. I think she's definitely an artist to look out for (if she wasn't already), provided she doesn't just keep making songs for teenagers I like that she said, "I asked myself 'What songs do I want to hear on the radio?' So I went and made them myself." 57 - Ava Max - "Dancing's Done"
Wow, Ava seems to be one of those artists who just keeps pumping out the singles! This was yet another one. I'm so annoyed I didn't get to see her at Mardi Gras this year (because I was in the ER with Covid) but I saw a few videos that people had posted, so I guess that's the next best thing. I was bopping away to this one. This is Ava's most successful song of the year for me (since she also appeared at #87 with "Million Dollar Baby") 56 - Stephen Sanchez & Ashe - "Missing You"
I loved the melodies on this one! It was one of those songs that stuck around in the lower-half my Top 20 to gain enough points to get this high. Stephen took out my #2 position on last year's Year-End chart with "Until I Found You". It's Ashe's first time here! Up next - the final non-top 50!
55 - This South Korean artist positioned himself nearby 54 - This Nashville via Kentucky country artist had something to submit to the teacher 53 - A Norwegian singer-songwriter had foreseen this relationship going sour 52 - These Californian and Missour(ian?) artists collab'd to reassure each other they'll be around 51 - This U.S. diva covered a German rock song and pop'ped it up!

55 - Jung Kook - "Standing Next To You"
One of the BTS boys had such a catchy tune with this one! 54 - Chase McDaniel - "Project"
If I knew how to line-dance, I would be front and centre grooving away to this one! Man, so catchy! This is my 6th-favourite country song of 2023 53 - Dagny - "Heartbreak In The Making"
Dagny with the hits! This was another one from the Norwegian songstress, and she's always done pretty well on my chart, but it's the first time she's appeared on my Year-End chart! 52 - Colbie Caillat & Sheryl Crow - "I'll Be Here"
What a great duet! It was cutesy and breezy and I was loving it! "I'll always have your back, and if nothing else you can always count on that." Awwww! 51 - Anastacia - "Best Days"
It was the lead single from Anastacia's new album, and I saw in the comments it was a cover of a German rock song And what a great job she did of it, with a stunning music video to match. You know I love anyone who can turn a heavy song into a lighthearted one, whilst swapping languages and keeping the rhymes while they are at it Still not Anastacia's highest entry this year! Up next! The Top 50!
50 - This Irish artist was looking to the skies 49 - This Aussie songstress sang about something large 48 - This Aussie artist was on this year's season of The Masked Singer Australia, or so he wants you to think 47 - This U.S. country artist seems to dislike the City Of Angels 46 - This South African artist was still in the bar at closing time

50 - Niall Horan - "Heaven"
Taking out my 50th spot for 2023, it's Niall! The ex One Directioner released this catchy tune around three months into the year, and it was just as catchy as his other ones! He's always been my favourite solo artist from the group, as he was the only one who had any energy on stage when I saw 1D live 49 - Betty Who - "BIG"
Anyone still lsleeping on Betty Who is missing out IMO. This sounds like something Journey would have released in the 80's, although they would have upped it more "Cos baby I was born to be big!" 48 - Conrad Sewell - "Make Me A Believer"
I didn't think anything Conrad released after "Healing Hands" would match it, but this was pretty damn good. Plus he kept me guessing on this year's season of "The Masked Singer" when most other artists were pretty obvious. 47 - Jake Slaton - "FLA"
Now this is an interesting one. This random country artist suddenly appeared on my algorithms, and I could have sworn the Youtube username had suddenly changed from the surname 'Hill' (who also has a country persona under the name 'Dixon Dallas') to 'Slaton' overnight, but I've since looked up other videos, and he appears to be a completely different artist! Maybe I'm going crazy, or maybe it's clever marketing, and 2023 has been a RIDE for me, but despite all this, WHAT a song! This takes out my fifth favourite country track of the year, and from a new artist. I swear I still listen to this song once a day. I just think it's brilliant associating a city with what (may have) happened there. 46 - Will Linley - "Last Call"
Oooo this was catch-y! He's released a few other songs either side of this one, but this was easily my favourite, with much a memorable hook and melody. I think he's the only South African artist I charted all year! Up next
45 - This U.S. country artist wanted us to turn to a higher power 44 - An Australian solo country artist (also part of a Brisbane pop band) sang about the colour of one of her instruments 43 - This U.S. crooner has 'found' his way back into my Year-End countdown for a second year running! 42 - This Canadian alt-pop artist sang about males from the countryside 41 - This Seattle pop artist capitalized the title of this track and owned it!
