Swedish '70s superstars ABBA are staging a comeback after nearly 40 years, including a concert tour with holograms
I wonder how it will do on the charts.

So glad this is finally happening Hard to believe the last time they were active, I wasn't even born yet. Long long ago when I was much younger, as a disco DJ, we'd play ABBA music at dances... "Dancing Queen", "Take a Chance on Me," "Voulez Vous".... Frankly ABBA was not very popular in the United States as they were elsewhere. Only "Dancing Queen" topped the Billboard Hot 100 with some other singles in the top 10 and several in the top 20/40 area. Still I loved their music and still do to this very day. Their U.S. singles and albums were initially released on Atlantic Records during their chart runs of the 1970s and early 1980s. I think reissues have been issued on Polydor (CDs, digital)... I like their two new songs.

I think the ABBA songs will do well on the Hot 100 and streaming charts. Don't expect pop radio to play them though in North America. If we had an old school AC format then they would likely be played there. I'm hoping there might be some dance numbers on their album or ones that can be remixed for clubs since the dance music crowd has long adored ABBA.

"When All Is Said And Done" was their last chart hit for me back in 1982. Looking forward to having Abba grace my chart again

I was never a huge fan (but I do like Dancing Queen and Gimme Gimme Gimme), but I have to admit it's pretty cool seeing them back.

I do love a lot of their older songs. Great to have them back!
Apparently, they're performing as holograms on tour.
