Well what a year that was! PHEW! Thank God I had music to get me through, and I'm thankful to artists for still putting some great stuff out there. It was actually quite exciting compiling my Top 100, and there were a few surprises, including realizing that both a heavy metal, rock and a hip-hop track made it into my year-end!
I had 25 songs reach the #1 spot.
In my Top 100 there are...
34 United States songs
28 Australian songs
16 Great Britain songs
8 Canadian songs
3 Norwegian songs
3 Swedish songs
2 New Zealand songs
2 Irish songs
2 Japanese songs
1 Korean song
1 French song
Without further-a-do, I bring you my Year-End Top 100 songs for 2020, beginning with the first 10

100
Lauv - "Modern Loneliness"
Kicking off my 2020 chart, this song was just brilliant lyrically and drew me in, as I'm quite philosophical, so this was always gonna go pretty well.
99
Brad Cox - "Give Me Tonight"
I kick it off with my first country song. A local guy, with a hell of a voice. I didn't expect him to look like he sounded haha, but man I loved this one, which topped my country-genre chart for quite a few weeks there. For me, it was more the melody and how it all worked so well.
98
Rina Sawayama - "XS"
I can thank Julian for introducing me to this artist this year. And not only was I hooked on her music, I found myself watching all her interviews and reactions to her album on Youtube, and she's quite likeable. Of course I had to go back and listen to her older music, which is just as good. Quality music and production across a lot of her stuff. This one was a top 10'er for me. I loved how many different elements to track gave me.
97
Holly Humberstone - "Falling Asleep At The Wheel"
The songs at the lower-half of a year-end can sometimes throw a surprise package in, and this year it's in the form of this! She was a Spotify discovery and I realized just how catchy I found that chorus to be. Plus, when someone has a sound that blends between easy-listening and even somewhat-country, it's gonna do well for me.
96
Kygo & Tina Turner - "What's Love Got To Do With It"
Another great rendition from Kygo, this one got enough points to sneak in!
95
Mariah Carey - "Save The Day"
Lauren Hill's voice is like nails on a chalboard for me (soz, not soz) but Mariah's vocal alone was enough to give this a year-end position! Such a catchy melody from Mimi.
94
Kiesza - "Crave"
Welcome back to the Year-End chart Kiesza! She appeared here with her debut ("Hideaway") and her voice on this (and quite a few of her other recent tracks) is SO good.
93
Taylor Swift - "The Man"
"Lover" charted into the New Year for me, but it was this clever smack-back track from Tay-Tay that gives her a lone appearance in my Year-End chart! This song needed to happen, given the year she's had with all that bullsh*t. And who else has released TWO albums AND is re-recording her old ones this year? Just amazing.
92
Stand Atlantic - "Blurry"
I got into this band from our carious rock-charting charts here on the board! It's seldom that I chart this genre, but these guys are gooooooood.
91
Darly Braithwaite - "Love Songs"
I guess he got bored in lockdown and finally had time I believe it was 21-years between singles for this guy, and it wasn't just a filler-track either, it was really good!
