TEENAGE WRIST EASILY STAYS AT #1 FOR THIRD WEEK
With a clear lead over the rest of the competition, Teenage Wrist's "Earth Is A Black Hole" easily earns its third week at #1, the band's ninth week leading the survey through the year. The title track from the band's upcoming sophomore album, out in February, continues to fend off challenges from Seahaven's "Moon" (#2) and Architects' "Animals" (up 4-3).
Meanwhile, AC/DC earn their first Burner 50 top 10 with "Shot In The Dark" up 11-9. Nothing looks likely by next week to get their sixth with "April Ha Ha", which moves 25-12; it would also mark the first time the heavy shoegaze band earned three top 10s from one album.
Following two moderately successful top 10 hits in "Just Exist" and "Pull Apart Heart", Eliza & The Delusionals return to the chart with "Sentimental", the week's top debut at #42. And as a result of renewed interest thanks to its top 20 charting on active rock radio and personal chart action on the Globalchart new and active, Cleopatrick's "Hometown" re-enters at #39; the 2017 song initially peaked at #25 in February 2018.
