Well I'm dummy mummy of the day. This album has been out for 10 months and I never started a thread on it?!
I loved his debut, but honestly, I love this one even more! I like that he didn't stray too far away from the alt-rock influences of his debut (songs like "Cherry" and "To Be So Lonely" could've easily been on that album), but still changed his sound and managed to be more pop friendly. I absolutely love every song on the album - yes, even the 70's pop reggae-influenced "Sunflower, Vol. 6". The album came out December 13th, and I planned on spotlighting it on my music discovery show The Book Club that Sunday, December 15th, but I loved the album so much and I KNEW I wouldn't have been able to keep quiet about it for two days, so I ended up airing the episode the day of it's release less than 24 hours after it came out. You can hear my reaction to the album, as well as some very inappropriate comments ("Harry can taste MY watermelon sugar!") here. I have tickets to see his show in Tampa next October, and I'm hoping by then concerts will be back and I am able to go, because I know these songs will sound GREAT live!
Here's my ranking of the album:
1. Adore You 2. Lights Up
3. Golden 4. She
5. Watermelon Sugar 6. Falling 7. To Be So Lonely 8. Fine Line
9. Cherry 10. Canyon Moon 11. Treat People With Kindness
12. Sunflower, Vol. 6

This is a terrific album, and HOPEFULLY I'll get to see Harry perform this live with Jess next year. It'll be a family show...or is it?

How was there no topic for this yet? Great album from start to finish! It says something when it's had FIVE top 3 hits on my chart to date.

A big fan of this album. And I kinda like the fact there was no special edition released a few months later. He put out the album he wanted and that was it. After listening to this one and his debut, I had planned to see him on tour (but then 2020 happened). I'm hoping for Grammy love on this album next week. He should be up for Album, record and song of the year. I believe they are pushing the song "Adore You" for the top awards.
