Drake has broken the record for the most top 10 singles in the history of the US Billboard chart, overtaking previous record-holder Madonna. The Canadian rapper and singer scored his 39th and 40th top 10 hits on this week's countdown, as the vocalist on DJ Khaled's singles Popstar and Greece. The feat comes just 11 years after his first appearance in the top 10, with his breakthrough hit, Best I Ever Had. Madonna had held the record since 2008, after surpassing The Beatles' tally. What a joke! Drake's music is nowhere near the level of Madonna and the Beatles.

Yeah, this is depressing news.
Then again, it’s much easier to pile up the hits nowadays. Even I could rap 10 seconds on a bunch of songs as a featured artist and get 40 top 10 hits. It’s all about having the right contacts.
Nicki Minaj will surely break that record, she’s the queen of small collaborations. 75 songs as a featured artist, 12 of which went top 10.
It’s just another example showing that the way popularity of music is calculated nowadays is all wrong.

This is proof that the Not 100 has been a total joke for years, counting Drake's "record" is like comparing apples to oranges.

I'd rather see even Pitbull claim this record ahead of Drake. At least Pitbull seems to have a bit of personality about him.
