75. An indie-pop anthem released around the time their lead singer came out. 74. The only significant hit on my chart by this British soul singer who has a few things in common with Carly Rae Jepsen. 73. The biggest hit by a band whose name was inspired by a drawing of someone who was very hungry! 72. My favourite solo song, and indeed, overall highest entry from the lead singer of a popular 90's band. Despite the title, it was probably his most upbeat song ever. 71. A power ballad about missing someone you're close to, but holding them close to your heart. 70. @wife doesn't like admitting this song was a #1 on his chart. 69. Two songs of this title appear in the top 100 - surprisingly, the one by the bigger core artist, a flop from 2007, is the lower of the two! 68. While this singer's debut single did modestly for me, this, a four-week #1 on my chart, made her a core artist, which she remained for about a decade starting with this song. 67. The lead single from an album that I had such a hard time finding a copy of back in the day. He was briefly very popular on this board and had a few hits during a short time in the mid-2000's. 66. A midtempo ballad from a Canadian singer; this was from her second album, but she has regressed in age since. 65. The first artist to start her career with two consecutive #1's on my chart; she has since had 17 more in addition to these two. 64. When this Canadian singer had her first #1 on my chart, she was 17. 63. The biggest hit by a band that made us roll our eyes. 62. In 2005, this singer had the two most played songs on pop radio. This was the later of the two releases, which was also a long-running Globalchart #1. 61. Not only does this song have a similar title to another song by the same band released eight years earlier, but its intro also sounds the same!

Surprised to see "Gold" (despite also being a fav of mine) and "Steal my Sunshine" up this high! I think after three albums, it's hard to keep making amazing music, so it's a shame that Xtina hasn't done quite as well in recent years, but what a voice that girl has. A deserved #6 spot!

All of @wife's guesses are correct, except for #66 and even then he got the right artist and album, and for #65 - go back to the first year of my chart.
For #75, think of a forest that glows in the dark.
The singer on #64 got her start on the same talent show that Victoria Duffield did.

All right except for 66, and you're still very close.

75. Neon Trees - Sleeping With A FriendThe highest entry for these indie pop guys from Utah; its infectuous rhythms propelled it to a five week run at #1 back in 2014. 74. Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records OnIn 2006, this British neo-soul singer had a brief run with success; while there were some minor follow-ups, this was her only major hit for me, spending a couple of weeks at #1. 73. Jimmy Eat World - The MiddleI've liked several songs by this Arizona alternative rock band, but it was this, their mainstream breakthrough, that has always stuck for me; it was a #1 back in 2002. 72. Rob Thomas - This Is How A Heart BreaksDon't be fooled into thinking this is a ballad, this rocker is possibly the most upbeat the Matchbox Twenty lead singer has ever sounded! A 6-week #1 in 2005, this song proved his lasting appeal for me and is my favourite from him overall. 71. 3 Doors Down - Here Without YouThese guys can do great power ballads, and this is possibly the greatest of them all, being a four-week #1 on my chart back in 2003. As all of their #1's have been very strong, they are nowhere near being done yet! 70. Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been GoneThis powerful breakup anthem helped cement Kelly Clarkson as one of my chart's core artists, spending four weeks at #1 in early 2005 and becoming her second of five #1's to appear on her "Breakaway" album. 69. Kelly Clarkson - SoberFrom one of Kelly's biggest hits to one of her most underrated, this emotional ballad from her "My December" album was a quick hit for me, spending 3 weeks at #1 in 2007. 68. Michelle Branch - All You WantedThis was the song that made Michelle into a core artist, as my love for it got me to get her "The Spirit Room" album, which impressed me overall. It spent four weeks at #1 in 2002. 67. Ryan Cabrera - On The Way DownAnother singer-songwriter here, it's Dallas's Ryan Cabrera. From his "Take It All Away" album, it spent a single week at #1 in the summer of 2004, among many other big hits at the time. 66. Avril Lavigne - Don't Tell MeSpeaking of 2004, one of my top artists that year had to be Avril Lavigne. Her "Under My Skin" album proved she was no sophomore slump, as this was the first of three #1's from that album. 65. Britney Spears - Sometimes"Baby One More Time" was arguably the biggest mega-hit of my chart era, and Britney definitely showed it was no fluke as this follow-up was a three-week #1 in the summer of 1999. She'd have many more #1's since. 64. Alyssa Reid - If You AreThe first song I heard from the then-teen Canadian star Alyssa Reid was this one; it was a surprise hit for me in late 2010, spending five weeks at #1 and launching a strong hit streak that would last for the better part of the decade. 63. Hinder - Lips Of An AngelThe fifth highest song that didn't reach #1, this song was a four-week #2 in the fall of 2006, a power ballad about infidelity that managed to stick with me, experiencing four months in my top 10 and a long run overall. 62. Kelly Clarkson - Behind These Hazel EyesKelly has been one of my biggest core artists ever, currently sitting at 26 #1's to date. This song spent a pair of weeks at #1 in the spring of 2005, but its overall longevity - 40 weeks in the top 100 - helped its placing here. 61. 3 Doors Down - When You're YoungOften compared to their previous hit "When I'm Gone" which is still to come, this lead single from their 2011 album "Time Of My Life" was yet another winner from the Mississippi rockers, becoming my #2 song of the year.

60. The fifth single and fifth straight #1 from this core artist's biggest album. 59. This song almost ended up prophetic during its run at #1 on my chart. 58. A song about optimism in trying times; it's by a band originally from Oklahoma. 57. The highest ranked Diane Warren composition in the list - no surprise, given who sings this one. 56. This song reminds me so much of David J. 55. My favourite from my favourite's most recent album. It's about a theoretical astronomical event. 54. A song that reminds me of Extreme's "More Than Words" in style. It's not a cover (which rules out Frankie J.) 53. Another song by this same title was a big meme on this board when it was out - as was another song by this singer. I knew that, due to this combination, that this would be an instant hit for me - and it was a big #1 about six years after said memes. 52. As much as I may have hated this singer's most recent output, she actually had a big #1 for me in the mid-2000's! It was her comeback single. 51. A vulnerable piano ballad. Unusually for this singer, she was the primary writer on it.

60 - Jekky - Breakaway? 57 - Kate Voegele - You Can't Break A Broken Heart? 56 - (Could be anything lol) - Austin Mahone - What About Love? 55 - Kate Voegele - World Stops Spinning? 54 - (Wild guess but I doubt it's right) Boyzone - No Matter What? 52 - Madonna - Hung Up?

Both Kate songs are correct.
For 60, you have the right artist, just don't stay in the same place.
For 56 - think of his classic signature on here.
The song at #54 isn't false.
You have the right time frame for #52, and it's by a similar diva who has been just as big.
