Fairly sure O-Town has the record here - "Liquid Dreams" spent 7 weeks on my chart with a #10 peak.
I'd have to look back in the archives to find out more.

Although my charts date back to 1981, I'll only include songs from 2007 on for this topic, since it's been a Top 40 for that long (a short chart run and a top 10 peak don't mean much if the chart only had 25 positions):
7 weeks: Lady Gaga featuring Elton John, Poker Face/Speechless/Your Song [Live from the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards] (#8 for 2 weeks) 7 weeks: Michael Buble, All I Want for Christmas Is You (#1 for 1 week) 7 weeks: Kelly Clarkson, Underneath the Tree (#1 for week) 8 weeks: Psy, Gangnam Style (#7 for 3 weeks) 8 weeks: Sara Bareilles/Katy Perry, Brave Roar (MixmstrStel 2 remix) (#3 for 1 week) 8 weeks: Imaginary Future, We Are the Love We Give (#10 for 2 weeks) 8 weeks: Lady Gaga, Till It Happens to You (#5 for 2 weeks) 8 weeks: David Bowie, I Can't Give Everything Away (#10 for 1 week) 9 weeks: Neon Trees, Wish List (#9 for 2 weeks) 9 weeks: Natalie LaRose featuring Jeremih, Somebody (#6 for 2 weeks) 9 weeks: Ed Sheeran, Photograph (#10 for 1 week) 9 weeks: Bruce Springsteen, Shackled and Drawn (#9 for 1 week) 9 weeks: Weird Al Yankovic, Word Crimes (#10 for 1 week)

On my chart, Emeli Sandé is one to watch out for here. "Hurts" took a big fall in its 12th week on and may not survive this week. She peaked at #7 with it.

If she falls off my chart this week, Katy Perry will be added to my list. "Save As Draft" has only been on for 14 weeks.

Watch out for Pink - she's in her 10th week on my chart with her former #1 "What About Us", and will almost certainly fall off next week, which would put her tied for the record for shortest running top 10 hit in my top 100 era (and breaking the record for shortest lasting #1 ever on my chart.)

Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato leave my chart this week after just 13 weeks on with their top 10 hit "Solo". It's Demi's third top 10 to have a run of 14 or less weeks.
Watch out as well for Train's "Call Me Sir", currently in its 13th week and likely to fall off either this week or next.

Watch out for Tyler Shaw to make this list for me with "With You". It's currently in week 14 and almost certain to fall off this week.

It most likely is "Tattva" by Kula Shaker. Lasted 8 weeks in my chart, but it spent 3 of those weeks at number 1
