975. Twista - Overnight Celebrity 972. Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
Can't believe it took me this long to think of the Discovery Channel...

Whew! And now, on with the game...
970) The third song with this word in the title (in order of chart appearance) - a term of address.
969) And this song title has charted several times before - the most recently by Bonnie Raitt.
968) The third release by a band that came to be on what some people considered an early version of American Idol.
967) The second Top 40 hit from an artist who you could say has a very girly sound.
966) And what do you know - this artist also had a song with the same title as #967, a few years later, but it did not chart.
GOOD LUCK!!

969. Lloyd f/Lil' Wayne - You? 968. O-Town - We Fit Together?
I'm confused with the clue for 966, as it refers to 965 which hasn't been revealed yet....

Nope.
Hint: You might want to google search a few keywords in that clue.
Oh, I forgot to mention - your guesses for #968 and #969 were correct.
An additional clue - think "Breaking Away" and a time clock.

Very good!
BTW, the "Breaking Away"/time clock clue referred to song #970.

Well, that one was right (and, for the record, the other "shawty" song we won't be getting to anytime soon, since it was way up there).
Now, for the next set of clues:
965) This song charted twice in the 2000s, but didn't hit the Top 40 until its second chart run.
964) This song, from definitely one of the top artists of the past decade, featured someone with a somewhat cosmic sounding name.
963) Can't get much shorter than this!
962) The first hit from a band who's got to be close to the record of having the most Top 40 hits without a single Top Ten.
961) What most people were listening to in the 1960s.
GOOD LUCK!!

965. Crossfade - Cold? (I have another guess if this is wrong) 964. Pink - Feel Good Time? (features William Orbit) 963. Omarion - O? 962. Coldplay - Yellow? (9 top 40's without a top 10 has to be the record!) 961. Everclear - A.M. Radio?
