The first one was song of the year the year it was released. I'd never heard of the second song though. Surprised since the Village People are legends.
Odd.

Would you rather live poor in a fun society or rich in a restricted one?

Would you rather live poor in a fun society or rich in a restricted one? Well, if the saying that money can't buy happiness has some truth to it, the poor/fun society would be the better choice and honestly, it would probably be the one I'd go for. I decided that I don't really *want* to ever be rich in a money-sense because while it would solve a lot of problems I have now (debts and stuff), it would create a lot of new ones and one of the biggest ones in my head would be creating a bigger divide socially between me and my friends/peers/etc. For me, happiness isn't about money but experiences and if I have a lot of money in a restricted society, my thoughts go to how restricted my experiences would be whereas if I'm poor in a fun society, at least I'm having fun despite my financial status.

Who is your all-time favorite artist? Favorite decade of music? How do you believe your musical tastes have changed these last 10 years? Do you remember when I used to call you Newf/Newfie and it made you sooo mad? lmao

Should I avoid asking too many questions since JessieLou asked 4 in 1 post?
Should I stop being hypocritical?
I'm sorry btw
Should I stop saying sorry?
I'm sorry that wasn't funny, you don't have to answer this
How long do you think Scott Helman will be #1 on your chart?

Who is your all-time favorite artist? I thought you asked me this before. Anyway, I don't think I can say I have one. I have like maybe 30 'core' artists that I'd consider my favourite at a particular time - usually around CD release time for them. As you can imagine, 2012 was a HUGE year for me because nearly all of my core artists put out new albums that year. It was absolutely insane. For the purpose of this question, I want to say Gaga, but then Sarah Slean, Kathleen Edwards, Brandi Carlile (who has a new album out soon), Tegan and Sara... I'm going to stop because I can literally go on. Favorite decade of music? I have FOND FOND memories of 90s music. Particularly 94-96, since that was my "dawn of music". Honestly though, I might have to say the 2010s. I've discovered some great albums and songs and plus, I still have access to all of my favs from decades past so really, music only ever gets better. It can physically never get worse. How do you believe your musical tastes have changed these last 10 years? Absolutely. I was all about the singer/songwriter, piano playing Canadian female ten years ago. It's been so long since I discovered one of those and sometimes I really want to just because it was so exciting being a new fan of Chantal Kreviazuk or Martina Sorbara. But even then, I don't think I even could anymore because my tastes have changed so much. Nowadays I'm all about the electropop. Or ambient electro music. I'm loving these folktronica songs that occasionally hit pop radio too. And in the last year or so, my music tastes have even switched genders. Male artists spent more time at #1 on my chart last year than any other year - maybe combined (I should check that factoid out. lmao!) Do you remember when I used to call you Newf/Newfie and it made you sooo mad? lmao Yeah, lmao! Newfie used to be considered a derogatory term for people from Newfoundland. Generally though I hate the term or name for me for the same reason I hate having the accent (which only comes out when I go back there). I'm not ashamed of my roots but I'm not interested in being labeled as a newfie. It's so limiting.

Should I avoid asking too many questions since JessieLou asked 4 in 1 post? No. Ask more. And stop asking questions for other people and ask only me questions. Should I stop being hypocritical? How do you think you're hypocritical? I'm sorry btw Why? Should I stop saying sorry? Honestly, yes. a) it's kind of annoying. b) most of the time you apologize for things that have nothing to do with you. c) you apologizing for everything is, once again, indicative of your need to please other people, which goes against the advice I gave you several times to stop trying to please other people, d) you can't actually be sorry as often as you say you are, which actually makes you a liar. I'm sorry that wasn't funny, you don't have to answer this If it's in my thread, I'll provide an answer. How long do you think Scott Helman will be #1 on your chart? Not sure. He just put himself in second place for solo male act with the most weeks at #1. I'd guess a few more weeks but it really depends on if something comes along to push him out. At the VERY least, he'll be out of there by March because Brandi's new album is out.

I'll try to stop, it's hard though
I trust your advise
Also what do you mean nobody can't can sorry as much as I say I am? I honestly regret most of the things I do, and I feel very bad for all of the mistakes (even the tiny ones) that I make
No offense btw, hopefully I didn't sound rude

Stop making mistakes. But mostly stop worrying about offending others. Most of the things you apologize for aren't your fault. Stop.
