Happy Halloween! I think I'm going to be SpongeBob SquarePants this year. I was going to share a donkey costume with Jason ... but we kept arguing over who would be the ass. (Insert rim shot, please.) Speaking of hotels (huh? ), the Hilton Monopoly continues its stranglehold at the top of David J's Hot 30. Older bro Ty spends a third week at the top of the heap, while evil step-sister Paris has screwed herself firmly into the runner up position. Listed below are my ten hottest tracks of the week. The Hilton Hotel Chain encourages you to click on the link beneath my banner, so you can check out songs 11-30. I don't want to tell you what to do, but let's just say it would beneficial for your health if you did make the effort to visit the website. The Family is watching, and they don't take kindly to disrespect! ;D TW | LW | SONG | ARTIST | (PEAK) | | 1 | [ 1] | When It Comes | Tyler Hilton | ( #1 for 3 weeks ) | 2 | [ 2] | Screwed | Paris Hilton | ( 2 ) | 3 | [ 3] | Dame Tu Aire | Alex Ubago | ( 3 ) | 4 | [ 7] | My Place | Nelly f/Jaheim | ( 7 ) | 5 | [ 6] | Breakaway | Kelly Clarkson | ( 5 ) | 6 | [ 5] | Fly | Hilary Duff | ( #1 for 1 week ) | 7 | [ 4] | Pop!ular | Darren Hayes | ( #1 for 1 week ) | 8 | [ 8] | On the Way Down | Ryan Cabrera | ( #1 for 2 weeks ) | 9 | [11] | Last Thing on My Mind | Ronan Keating & LeAnn Rimes | ( 9 ) | 10 | [12] | Dare You to Move | Switchfoot | (10 ) |

Happy Halloween! I think I'm going to be SpongeBob SquarePants this year. I was going to share a donkey costume with Jason ... but we kept arguing over would be the ass. (Insert rim shot, please.) I know. It was quite an ordeal. But I think they all know which one of us is the *ass*, David. BTW, for Halloween, I've opted to dress up as Ashlee Simpson. And when I'm trick-or-treating, I'll knock on the door, turn on my portable boombox, and when the person answers, "Pieces Of Me" will be playing in the background, while I stand there without moving my lips. Then... and this is the BEST part...after they put candy in my bag, I will perform an impromptu hoedown in lieu of saying "thank you." It's going to be so exciting!!! The Family is watching, and they don't take kindly to disrespect! ;D What will they do if we show disrespect? Tie us to a chair and make us watch them perform "We Are Family?" As for your chart.... Yay! Nelly moves up more! "My Place" is still in my Top 10 this week, so it's not a total conspiracy! Kelly continues her slow rise up the chart, I see. Well, at least she's still moving up. ;D Jordan James & Destiny's Child still moving up! BTW, remember last week, I said...as a show of solidarity, I was going to literally hold my breath until Destiny's Child got to #1 on your chart? Well, I did...for about 30 seconds. Obviously, it didn't work out too well for me. So instead, I've made up a t-shirt with the ladies on it...and the song lyric, "put it on me deep in the right direction." Isn't that clever? Good to see Bowling For Soup & Ashlee continue to move up! ;D Uh oh. Lindsay Lohan is your highest debut. Somewhere, Avril Lavigne is rolling her eyes at you, David. Your other debuts are great too! Eminem & Gwen! Ooh!!! I have a cool suggestion for you! One week, when Gwen gets a little higher on the chart, your chart title (ie. this week's "Boo! Did I Scare You") should be "Take A Chance You Stupid Ho!" Anyway... It's been fun! Catch ya on the flipside.

I was not liking the Gwen song, but after seeing the video a couple of times, it is growing on me. Nice chart, but I would never rank When it comes at number one!!

David J!!!
Nice to see you charting my boy TyHi at #1. he deserves the attention now that I don't have him on my chart.
I'm also glad to see Kelly sneakining up the chart...
Also, great to see Switchfoot finally make the Top 10.
And whoa! I didn't think a group of debuts could get this mainstream on your chart! Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani AND Eminem? Yikes! However, all are great songs, so it's okay!

Wow, Angel City continue their climb. Now I can see it hitting the top 10. You know, Jay, when I first charted the track, I really didn't know how far it was going to go. However, it has plugged away week after week and has finally broken through a log-jam that had limited it pretty much to 1-spot moves each week for the past 6 weeks or so. I do see this one reaching the top ten - maybe as early as next week. Damn those log jams, but they're due to this board exposing me to so many great new songs! ;D

I am glad to see you charting "What You Waiting For?"... it's a great dance tune, isn't it? Oh my! Three weeks with Tyler Hilton on top! I think you need to visit an AA program because you're obsessed with that song. Just kidding, I like "When It Comes".

It was quite an ordeal. But I think they all know which one of us is the *ass*, David. I agree, J-Boy; they ALL know who the ass is BTW, for Halloween, I've opted to dress up as Ashlee Simpson. I think I'll try the same thing! We'll start the biggest fad since the "add an exclamation point to your screen name" fad. Please see my comment in your chart thread this week . What will they do if we show disrespect? Tie us to a chair and make us watch them perform "We Are Family?" You don't wanna know what they'll do. Let's just say you get a free pair of cement shoes, but I can't divulge further details for fear of repercussion. But the Sister Sledge throwback is a nice touch; thanks! Yay! Nelly moves up more! "My Place" is still in my Top 10 this week, so it's not a total conspiracy! Hey, just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they aren't all out to get you! Kelly continues her slow rise up the chart, I see. Well, at least she's still moving up. ;D I think Kelly's climbing days are over, J-Boy. You'll notice (if you get off your lazy knees, I mean ass, to see my website chart again) that K.C. moved 6-5 unbulleted. I notice that you dropped Miss C. 2-3 this week, so I win the "Who's treating Kelly nicer this week?" contest. Oh, sure, you could argue that having her two spots higher is better treatment, but don't discount the horrific emotional baggage that goes with a slamming free-fall like a 2-3 drop. Jordan James & Destiny's Child still moving up! Clever is your middle name, J-Boy! Yep, Jason Clever Whatever (substitute that M last name for "Whatever") is right there on the ole birth certificate. (Hey, if you're gullible enough to believe that you can hold your breath for weeks on end, why wouldn't you buy into believing I know your true middle name?) Uh oh. Lindsay Lohan is your highest debut. Somewhere, Avril Lavigne is rolling her eyes at you, David. As long as Avril doesn't come looking to kick my ass, I'm all right with her rolling her eyes at me. Hey, Avril, see this? Ha, ha, you couldn't even tell I was flipping you off, could ya? Oops, I think I may have messed that up. Hope Avril can take a joke Your other debuts are great too! J-Boy, I will take your suggestion under consideration. I won't choose it, but I'll consider how to go about ignoring it, all right, you stupid ho! Love ya, Jason! Thanks for honoring my thread with your presence. Now feel free to honor me with your presents!

I was not liking the Gwen song, but after seeing the video a couple of times, it is growing on me. Nice chart, but I would never rank When it comes at number one!! Well, that won't be the last #1 on my chart that you'll refuse to put at #1 on your chart. For example ... "Dame Tu Aire" is next in line after Tyler has his fill of time on top! Glad you're giving the Gwen track a second chance. My initial reaction was pretty tepid, but ... it does grow on you after a while, doesn't it? ;D Ari, as a special tip found ONLY HERE, I will let you in on a secret: "Heaven" is set to debut on my next chart. I am not promising a long run, but ... I've been listening to it a lot lately (in fact, I'm listening to it RIGHT NOW), so it has gotten to me at last ... just as was your evil plan all along, eh?

I am glad to see you charting "What You Waiting For?"... it's a great dance tune, isn't it? I do like it more and more each time I hear it. The video, however, is really odd in a good an disturbing way, so that pretty much sealed the deal for a debut on this week's chart. ;D Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me? She who has a song at #1 for an EIGHTH week tells me I am "obsessed" with a song I've had at #1 for THREE weeks? I am glad that you like the song. Any chance that it will see the light of day on your chart? They are supposed to debut the video on Nov. 17 on TRL. I've already set my alarm clock and everything.

I think I'll try the same thing! Idea stealer!!! We'd probably win the contest for most creative costume, though. My first costume idea after the donkey thing fell through was to dress up as Jessica. But then I realized that I'd need a second person to come with me, dressed up as Ben...holding some CDs high above my head. We'll start the biggest fad since the "add an exclamation point to your screen name" fad. Cool! I can't wait to see how some other members look in their Ashlee Simpson outfits. But the Sister Sledge throwback is a nice touch; thanks! Hey, I do what I can to keep the spirit of the 70s alive. I think Kelly's climbing days are over, J-Boy. You'll notice (if you get off your lazy knees, I mean ass, to see my website chart again) At work, we learn that being on your knees instead of your ass is better....for obvious reasons. But I understand the point you're trying to make. that K.C. moved 6-5 unbulleted. It's true. Kelly may be sobbing herself to sleep at night over her 1 spot drop on my chart this week, but I hear that she's moping around the house in her bathrobe all day long because she's unbulleted on your chart. I mean, come on, David! The girl hasn't had a shower in 3 days! Have mercy, please! Clever is your middle name, J-Boy! Yep, Jason Clever Whatever (substitute that M last name for "Whatever") is right there on the ole birth certificate. (Hey, if you're gullible enough to believe that you can hold your breath for weeks on end, why wouldn't you buy into believing I know your true middle name?) OMG, David! Now YOU must be the one dressed up as Miss Cleo! Clever really IS my middle name! Just kidding. But you're not too far off. My middle name does start with a "Cl." Love ya, Jason! Thanks for honoring my thread with your presence. Now feel free to honor me with your presents! Oh David.... By "my presents," you wouldn't be referring to goodies....er, I mean "Goodies," now would you? *silently wishing* At any rate (which is very expensive, I might add...), you ain't gettin' none, boy....at least not until Christmas. Presents aren't handed out on Halloween, silly!
