Paul McCartney joins the list this week. He previously hit #1 with "Come On To Me" and the Kygo remix of "Say Say Say", and now hits #1 as part of the Beatles, on "Now And Then".

So far only one person has hit #1 on my chart with a band and as a solo artist: Mat Kerekes. His band Citizen has earned 9 #1s on my chart between 2015 and 2023, plus a solo #1 in 2022 with "Danger".

Since I have been doing personal charts off and on around here, the only artist that recently qualified on my chart is Paul McCartney. He hit #1 with "Find My Way" in early 2021 for 3 weeks. As of this posting his former band, The Beatles hit #1 on my chart for the past two weeks with "Now And Then". This will not happen again.

This has happened for only the second time in my chart's history. Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia reached #1 with "What You Need" with British producers WH0. Swedish House Mafia reached #1 in 2012 with "Don't You Worry Child" with vocalist John Martin.
