#085 of 2002- A Moment Like This #136 of 2003- The Trouble With Love Is #115 of 2003- Before Your Love #112 of 2003- A Moment Like This #053 of 2003- LowAmerica's Idol Kelly Clarkson's biggest song of 2003 "Miss Independent" spent only one week at #1 on the Hot Top 50! but some how stayed on long enough to make the year end top 10. Two of Kelly's other songs were on last year's year end chart and this year's year end chart. If "A Moment Like This" was released in 2003 it woulda been big, but this year "Miss Independent" seems to be Kelly's biggest hit.

With even more great song off the “I Care 4 U” album, they should of released more song by Aaliyah. But hopefully in the future they will release another Aaliyah song and it will be quite amazing like “Miss You”. Hopefully “Miss You” isn’t the last from beautiful and not forgotten Aaliyah.

08) Christina Aguilera- Beautiful(25 Weeks, Peak #1) 6 Weeks @ #1 Other Songs By Christina Aguilera that made the Hot Top 50!:
"Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)" "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely (W/ Ricky Martin)" "Lady Marmalade (W/ Mya, Pink & Lil Kim)" " Dirrty (W/ Redman)" "Fighter" "Can't Hold Us Down (W/ Lil' Kim)" "The Voice Within" Past Year End Positions:
#009 of 2001- Nobody Wants To Be Lonely #001 of 2001- Lady Marmalade #072 of 2002- Dirrty #023 of 2002- Beautiful #087 of 2003- The Voice Within #026 of 2003- Fighter #022 of 2003- Can't Hold Us Down
After making last year's year end chart at #23, "Beautiful" made it's way on to this year's year end chart, and even higher than last year. This song spent 1 week at #1 in 2002 and 5 weeks at #1 in 2003, making it's total 6 very long weeks at #1. The video was very good, showing that everyone can be beautiful in their own special way. The video has to be one of the best videos of all time IMO. Coming in at #11 on R&R's year end chart, "Beautiful" is the biggest Christina Aguilera song of 2003 both on the Hot Top 50! and the pop chart. This song really stands out and hopefully Christina will be remembered for it.

07) Trapt- Headstrong(23 Weeks, Peak #1) 2 Weeks @ #1Other songs by Trapt that made the Hot Top 50!:
"Still Frame"Even though this song has been out quite awhile before I heard it, it still made my chart. "Headstrong" is one of the songs this year that got hooked on me right away. Even though Trapt's debut CD was released November 2002, Trapt's breakout year was more like 2003. "Headstrong" made it's way up to #1 and stayed there for 2 weeks. And as of the last week of 2003, "Headstrong" is still on the chart with an amazing 23 weeks. Who knows, maybe "Headstrong" will be on the 2004 year end chart.

02) Evanescence f/ Paul McCoy (of 12 Stones)- Bring Me To Life(31 Weeks, Peak #1) 2 Weeks @ #1Other songs by Evanescence that made the Hot Top 50!
"Going Under" "My Immortal"Past Year End Positions:
#106 of 2003- Going Under #081 of 2003- My ImmortalThis year Evanescence had 3 songs make my chart but only one of those songs made #1, and that song was "Bring Me To Life". This song first appeared from the movie "Daredevil". This has to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time, as a matter of fact... it's probably one of the best songs of all time. With a very gothic rock sound Evanescence got 3 weeks at #1 and a total of 31 weeks on my chart this year. This is one of those songs that I would never forget. With it's incredible sound, This is one of my all time favorite songs. Hopefully Evanescence has more to come in 2004.

And My # 1 SongOf 2003 Is...01) Hilary Duff - So Yesterday(22 Weeks, Peak #1) 8 Weeks @ #1Other Songs That Made The Hot Top 50! by Hilary Duff:
"I Can't Wait" "Tell Me A Story" "Santa Clause Lane" "Why Not" "What Dreams Are Made Of" "Working It Out" "Come Clean" "Circle Of Life" Past Year End Positions:
#043 of 2002- I Can't Wait #088 of 2003- Come Clean #021 of 2003- Why Not #012 of 2003- What Dreams Are Made Of #006 of 2003- I Can't WaitAfter such huge success with her song "I Can't Wait" earlier in 2003, Hilary Duff came back in July 2003 with a very strong song called "So Yesterday". Of course like all her other songs this one got hooked on me. This song was so good it debuted in the top 15 and stayed in that region for many months. "So Yesterday" is the song that spent the most weeks @ # on my personal chart this year, spending 8 Weeks @ #1. Not exactly beating the most weeks at #1 on my chart of all time but it almost did. Avril Lavigne's song "Complicated" spent 8 weeks at #1 in 2002 and ended up making the #1 song of 2002. In 2003, Hilary Duff did the exact same, spent 8 weeks @ #1 and ended up being my #1 song of 2003. Hopefully in the future Hilary can get some more hits on my countdown and lots of others.
