Nope, and probably never will.
I don't have anything against foreign language music, but lyrics are a huge part to me and when I can't understand them, I just ignore it.

I voted yes as i have charted foreign language songs in the past and may chart some in the future. But i agree with iGimp about if i can't understand lyrics then i'm more likely to not listen to the song.

I don't right now but have had in the past. It's helpful if I can understand the language, if not it's kind of neat to try and learn to sing the song even if you don't understand it

I mentioned I said Yes, but here's why.
There's a couple of things I look at here. First, I take a listen to the music in the song and then I pay attention to the lyrics as well...however, when it comes to non-English songs, it really doesn't come down to lyrics for me. If I like the song, it's basically that.

Nope, and probably never will. I don't have anything against foreign language music, but lyrics are a huge part to me and when I can't understand them, I just ignore it. God knows I have tried to make people here listen to music in other languages and it has never worked. So here goes again, nothing. When meeting people, you really demand them knowing english, so otherwise you'll ignore them? That would be so harsh and close minded. So when it comes to music, the artist are trying to reach us through music, that's their presentation card. And when you decide to ignore how awesome the music and the voice can be, you're only closing yourself to that culture and that sucks so much. Listen to everything, I get much much joy from just humming japanese or romanian or portuguese songs and I don't need to know what the message is, it's not needed to enjoy music, but well, to take you all off my neck: to each their own

I understand what you mean, Ari. But I can't get myself into music in other languages because I can't understand the lyrics. Simple as that. I'm not saying that I don't *like* other languages in music, just not as much as I would music in English.
But that's not saying I don't listen at all to foreign language music. I do actually watch some anime that's not in english and I do sometimes hear stuff on the radio.
So it's not that I'm closing myself off from the music, I'm just not pursuing it.

I don't understand english song .. And i heard english song .. All depend if you prefer the music or the lyrics You have the mentality of my parents It's very easily to take another langage song and translate the lyrics for understand the lyrics .. We are not in the year 1960 but 2007 Like say Xfer, it's impossible to change a mentality for a english of love a foreign langage The Quebec must profite of very little success of his artists from here like Malajube ... If Arcade Fire have a success in the world, Malajube must have a success anywhere in the world .. 23 shows in a month to United States .. Currently in touring in UK ... USA Tour : www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/41163-malajube-tour-the-world Uk Tour : www.pollstar.com/tour/searchall.pl?By=Artist&Content=Malajube&Exact=Y

Well, my chart is currently discontinued, lol, but it always has Spanish songs on it. I'm Hispanic-American, it's only right.
