29. "Karma" - Alicia Keys This was Alicia Keys' biggest single since "Fallin'" in 2001. Reached #3 in April.
28. "Beautiful Soul" - Jesse McCartey McCartney's debut single. Reached #3 in January.

Kelly! (I know you love her )\ Much as I don't, she's got a few more songs that have yet to come on my top 100 of the year. The reason is that Billboard ratings account for 30% of my chart rankings, and Z-100 airplay accounts for 25%.

25. "Run It" - Chris Brown / Juelz Santana Brown's debut single, it hit #2 in December, just barely fitting in before the 2005 cutoff.
24. "Shake It Off" - Mariah Carey / Jermaine Dupri This was the third single off "The Emancipation of Mimi". Was a follow up to "We Belong Together", which marked Mariah's very successful comeback this summer. Peaked at #2 in October.
23. "Lonely" - Akon This was the second single off "Trouble." I had expected Akon to become a one-hit-wonder after he released "Locked Up" in August 2004, since it took such a long time before he had another hit. This one was terrible, in my opinion, but it did reach #2 in May.
22. "Caught Up" - Usher / LL Cool J This was released in late 2004, but didn't hit #2 until March. It's quite rare that an album produces five singles, but this was the fifth release off "Confessions."
21. "Obsession (No Es Amor)" - Frankie J. / Baby Bash Another song I didn't like early this year. Reached #2 in April.
