This is gonna be battling Carrie Underwood's album for the #1 spot on Billboard.
I hope Madonna can come out on top. She's projected to sell 350-375k in the first week.

It has been confirmed that "Sorry" will be the second single off "Confessions on A Dancefloor" - it's scheduled for a release sometime in December.

I don't think Carrie is any competition for Madonna at all... Madonna will definately be #1. Mariah will probably be #2 with sales of 100k, Carrie will be top 5 with sales between 75-100k

^ Lol, you obviously haven't seen the Hits One-Days.
Madonna: 325-350k Carrie Underwood: 300-325k Mariah Carey: 140-160k Big & Rich: 125-30k Green Day: 85k
Plus, Carrie Underwood had the Country Music Awards earlier this week. HITS also predicted that the boost from that could trend Carrie over 350k.

Congradulations to Madonna as "Confessions On A Dance Floor" manages to hold off some strong competition from Carrie Underwood for the #1 spot. This is her 3rd consecutive #1 album, following Music and American Life. Ray Of Light only managed a #2 peak.
Final -- 1 MADONNA WARNER BROS. 344,061 -- CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR -- 2 CARRIE UNDERWOOD ARISTA/RMG 303,300 -- SOME HEARTS
