How comforting, coming from someone who also agreed with the statement, "I hope no one submits any R&B or Hip-hop songs... if I make it to round two, I am planning to participate with an inspirational song "You Oughta Know?"

Why do you think that? my song choice prolly won't fly too well with most members... i don't even remember the song, all i know is that i felt sure i wasn't gonna make it to part 2.

I hope that everyone is open to all kinds of different types of music in this competition and won't vote completely based on their "genre bias." None of us should feel like we can't submit a song because it's a type of music that a few of the other participants don't like. I know a point of this competition is to win, but I thought the bigger point was to get to hear a song that you might not have heard before because it wasn't released to radio. And while it's not in the rules, I don't think it's fair for someone to submit a song that chances are most people already know somewhat (like 'cruz' by Christina aguilera, for example) because familiarity in a song will definately help in a group of songs that you don't know.
