This evening on CBS, they aired a program called My Night At The Grammys. Basically, it was a countdown of the 25 best Grammy "moments" as voted on by fans (who these fans are and when the voting happened weren't revealed during the broadcast). Although they were referred to as "moments" during the broadcast, the show was basically a countdown of the best performances throughout the history of the award show's broadcast. Without knowing what other performances qualified for the countdown, it's hard to know what to think of this list, but I imagine that there some performances from years past that deserve to be on the list rather than some of the ones that DID make it. But I thought it would be fun to post this list here for those of you who didn't see the broadcast.
Why was this program on when the award show doesn't air for three months? It's all part of the run-up to the Grammy's 50th show, which WILL happen in February. Here's the list:
