Well, guys... The latest edition of Survivor starts tonight. There's been a ton of hype about this season because of the controversial way that the tribes are being divided. But beyond all of the hype & the controversy, I hope it's a good season.
I hear Exile Island will continue to be used this season. I hope that the idol is used this season...and that there's a bigger struggle to find it, instead of it being found almost immediately.
I'm definitely looking forward to the new season!

I'll definitely watch this tonight.
I don't really see what the big deal is. Sure, they're separated by their "race", but in the context of the game, it doesn't mean much. It's not like they'll remain separated for the entire game. Ultimately, the 4 tribes will merge into 2. And then from 2 into 1.

OMG! The show's great.
I find the way they divide the tribes interesting... ;D
My FINAL FOUR gotta be Parvati, Adam, Jenny and Candice.

I agree. Very insightful. But at the same time, it'll be interesting to see how they do as the game picks up.

We haven't seen much of her or Rebecca. Are they even playing? They've just faded into the background at this point.

I'm having a problem finding anyone to root for. Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding everyone this season to be fairly unlikable.
I want to root for Ozzy, since he's kind of on his own, but I don't like him. I don't like "Adam the alpha male" or his "Amber," Candice. And then Jenny, Rebecca, Sundra, & Becky aren't even playing. They're just...there.
I think about the only person I don't dislike is Nate. And just because everyone else on the show wants him gone, I'm sort of rooting for Jonathan.
I'm hoping once the merge happens and personalities start to show a little more, maybe some of these people will start to be more likable.

Goooo Yul! I wanted Yul to win, since he played a fantastic strategic game, but I honestly thought it would go to Ozzy, so I'm glad that Yul took it.

Saw it last night. I'm glad Yul won, nothing against Ozzy, but Yul played the best strategic game by far.
I was laughing my head off during the tie-breaker between Sundra & Becky and you can blatantly see Jeff Probst getting a little frustrated that no one had fire after the 1st hour or so. LOL.

I'm glad Yul won too. I agree wholeheartedly that he played the best strategic game and deserved it the most.
I thought the "three-person final tribal council" was a neat twist. But I wish it had been a case where all three of the people had a chance of winning. There was no way Becky had a chance of winning. Hopefully, if they do a three-person final tribal council next season, all three people participating will have an equal chance of winning.
