I didn't like the ending.
SPOILER ALERT! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I was told that the spirit or whatever had been changing bodies all throughout the movie. That makes the ending a bit better, but I still don't get it.
Anyway, I'd have been much happier if it ended with her waking up and hauling ass back home. lol

LMMFAO HAULING ASS.
MORE HUGE SPOILERSSSSS
The black man and woman (forgot their names) who were the servants or whatever in the house long time ago switched bodies with those two little kids. So whenever they hung the black man and woman, they really hung the little kids because their souls were in their bodies. Eventually they got old, and the black man (who was in the little boy's now old body), traded bodies with that one guy. So the guy was really in the old man's body, and they brought Kate Hudson to care for him. All this time the old man was trying to tell her what happened, but the old lady would find ways for him to not do so. And at the end the old lady switches bodies with Kate Hudson. So whenever she gets up and lights the cigarette, the black woman is now in Kate Hudson's body. That's why she said she wanted a black woman there earlier. So the black man and woman from a long time ago, switched bodies with the kids, then switched bodies with Kate Hudson and that one guy. So at the end Kate Hudson is in the old woman's body and the guy is in the old man's body. OMFG. SHOCKING.

WTF is Becky? And her?
Because that would suck. I like the idea of them switching bodies everytime they get old, it's way creepy. And poor Kate Hudson, that's what's great about the ending, the main character doesn't get a happy ending.

LOL. I guess you haven't heard MC Hammer's "Baby Got Back".
Eh. They should've made the switching of bodies a bit more apparent.

I was told that the spirit or whatever had been changing bodies all throughout the movie. That makes the ending a bit better, but I still don't get it. Yeah seems like actually that the ppl (i dont rem their names) who practice voodoo live forever because they change the bodies ! The black man and woman (forgot their names) who were the servants or whatever in the house long time ago switched bodies with those two little kids. Oh very interesting, didnt notice that ! So at the end Kate Hudson is in the old woman's body and the guy is in the old man's body. OMFG. SHOCKING. huh ? the guy is'n the old man's body?? no, the man is already in that young man's body at the beginning of the movie, isnt it ?! that white guy with black hair, the good looking one ! i dont remember his job anymore... but the point of the movie is to show how the woman goes in a new and fresh (lol) body..! I think that the guy was before in the old man's body thats why the woman in the old lady's body take care of him that he doesnt tell anyone the truth. lol at least thats what i got from the movie !

That's what I meant. The younger guy was already in the old man's body by the time Kate Hudson got there. That's the only reason WHY she was there. And all that time he kept trying to tell her what happened. You know where he climbs out the window and tries to kill himself or when he writes "Help me" on the bedsheet. Just think, if he was able to talk Kate Hudson (Caroline) woulda saved herself. Ugh. And the reason why I think he freaked when she showed him the mirror was because he's in an old mans body, I mean, if I looked in the mirror and saw myself in an old body and couldn't barely do anything, I'd freak too and probably do something worse.

I got to see this last weekend, again. I watched it twice. I realized how much I love this movie again.
I'm definently buying this next time I go somewhere. I don't care if it's full screen or not. I had the chance to buy it when it first came out, but all wal-mart had was full screen. But I don't like that. And next time I went there it was all gone. So I'm going to buy it next time, no matter what full screen or wide screen.
