Seen this movie late last night, it was great. I have never read a comic or watched the cartoon about the Fantastic Four, but the movie makes me want to. Great job to the cast and everyone involved.

I can't wait to see it. Not to mention it's $56 million opening broke the worst Box Office slump in over 20 years.

My son saw it, said it was so-so. I want to see it because I was a fan of both the comic book and the original cartoon series when I was a kid.

The critic reviews for this hasn't been so great. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 27% freshness rating out of a 100%.

Most of my favorite movies (as far as I know) have gotten bad reviews. I could probably point out a few flaws with every movie I've seen. If its a crime to care more about the positivies then the negatives, then arrest me, but I don't care about why a movie is bad.

I'm not suggesting that the critics are entirely correct when it comes to reviews. I mean, look at "War Of The Worlds". I don't particularly like the movie, but it's generating mostly positive reviews. With that being said however, it just gives me an indication of what to expect. Two years ago, I saw "The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen" with Sean Connery and it was complete garbage. I lost 2 hours of my life right there. The acting was bad and the dialogue was horrible, managing about a 23-24% rating. So, if the "Fantastic Four" only managed a 27% rating, I don't know how much better it is than "...League".

I saw this yesterday. It was pretty good. It seems to be more aimed towards the younger audience though.
I'd say 3.5/5 stars.

I want someone to explain one thing to me. When they're on the bridge, the fire guy and the elastic man ask to the invisible woman to take off her clothes... why was that? She could have walked like the other two with no need to be invisible

LOL, thanks Bryan. But I wanted to know why couldn't she walk without being invisible just like the other two? It was not necessary for her to be invisible in that moment. Or maybe I am missing something... maybe it was a scene to show what she could do. Also, in that very moment, they still hadn't revealed her powers, and becoming invisible in that moment could have attracted stares of curious people. It was a risk to do something like that, when it was not strictly necessary. I am thinking too much!

I think they wanted her to get through the crowd without drawing attention to herself. The irony is that it had the opposite effect.

I saw this movie, it was pretty good, fairly faithful to the comic except that they made Reed Richards too much of a dork for my liking. Perhaps that will change in a sequel. They resolved later in the movie that their space suits would not need to be removed since they wore them when the incident happened, hence both Sue and Johnny get to keep their clothes on!!
