Bodybuilder Soaks Jeff -- Gets Boot
6 players remain in the game. 6 seasons are still represented. Not bad considering how things could have gone down.
It was do-or-die for Shii Ann as she knew that only an immunity win could save her from the inevitable. And somehow she pulled that win out of her ass. I don't know how, but she did it... So, congrats are in order.
That left 6 members of the Chaboga Mogo tribe vulnerable. 4 were originally from the Chapera tribe. 2 were from the Saboga tribe (remember THEM?). Ramber could have stuck by their original tribemates by voting off either Rupert or Jenna L., but they took a chance. It seems that Ramber believe they can trust Jenna L. and Rupert more than Alicia and Big Tom.
Now, I don't know how true this really is. Yes, Alicia was a bit of an outsider, but her only alliance in this game was to Rob M.. I think she would have stuck by more they predicted. But hey, she was an immunity threat, too, so meh.
Now, I know a million people must have been siding with Shii Ann in her attempt to out Rob M. from the game. He's the epicenter of power, and yet, people are afraid to take him down. I said it last week, and I'll say it again. Rob M. and Amber WILL be in the final 4, and most likely final 2. It's a pretty grim finish, but it's best that we brace ourselves before it comes.
This episode had two instances where alliances could have been put out into the open. The first of which was the reward challenge. If y'all remember back to the Marquesas season, John Carrol and his Rotu 4 made a fatal mistake by spelling out the boot order during the challenge, exposing who was in the alliance, and who wasn't, and as a result, the 5 on the outside ended up banding together to take them down. Because of the outcome from that game, this challenge has been used in almost every season. Unfortunatly, this didn't really help at all this season. No boot orders were exposed... but we also knew that neither Alicia nor Shii Ann would win going in.
The second oppertunity was the reward itself, where Rupert had the oppertunity to pass out dinner. Now, this was a tell tale sign why Ramber chose Ruppie and Jenna L. over the others: Rupert showed his cards. The first 3 people he allowed to pick their dinners were Rob M., Amber and Jenna L.. That left Big Tom, Alicia, and Shii Ann on the outside.
Now, nothing's gonna be done any time soon to change the outcome of the game. Either Rob M. or Amber will be the latest millionaire added to the elite list of "Survivoir" winners. It's just a matter of who joins them in the final 4.
Predictions
The next few episodes should be pretty easy to call.
Shii Ann will be next. There is no way she can pull of back-to-back immunity wins. NO WAY.
Following Shii Ann, knowing that it's never good to take a team into the final 4, Ramber will take out perky cheerleader Jenna L..
That leaves us with a final 4 or Big Tom, Rupert and Ramber.
Rupert will secure himself the F4 immunity leaving Big Tom to finish 4th... again. But then Rupert is toast.
Rob M. and Amber final 2.
*sigh*
Until next week...
