"Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia debuted at #10 back in 1998.

Between 1977, when my chart started, and 1982, I only charted songs that I owned. Songs would debut at #1 quite often when I would get around to actually buying them. When that became waaay too costly, I decided to allow all songs on.
Soooo, since 1982 only 3 songs have debuted inside the top 10.

09-13-97 Elton John "Candle In The Wind 1997" 09-12-98 Shania Twain "From This Moment On" (RE-ENTRY) those are the only two songs that have ever charted on my chart, and both managed to reach #1 10+ weeks after their debut.
