#1 - Britney Spears > Every single one of her songs has hit #1, so I'll just specify the period of time spent at the top.
Baby One More Time - 1 Week Sometimes - 3 Weeks You Drive Me Crazy - 2 Weeks From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart - 2 Weeks Oops!...I Did It Again - 11 Weeks Lucky - 2 Weeks Stronger - 7 Weeks Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know - 6 Weeks I'm A Slave 4 U - 12 Weeks Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman - 6 Weeks Overprotected - 5 Weeks Boys - 6 Weeks Me Against The Music - 7 Weeks Toxic - 10 Weeks Everytime - 6 Weeks
And Outrageous is currently at #20.
15 #1's, and over 85 weeks at the top, she is the undeniable queen of the S4B. Hence, why the chart is named after her.

#1 - Britney SpearsBaby One More Time - 1 Week It's almost weird that the song that introduced her to the world has the least amount of #1 time logged on your chart.

Like Roger, Britney Spears has had the most Top 20 hits on my chart, with every one of her singles logging time at #1 between "...Baby One More Time" and "Toxic." To this date, "Everytime" is the first Britney single to have never charted.
"...Baby One More Time" 5@1 "Sometimes" 2@1 "(You Drive Me) Crazy" 2@1 "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart" 1@1 "Oops!... I Did It Again" 4@1 "Lucky" 2@1 "Stronger" 2@1 "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know" 1@1 "I'm A Slave 4 U" 2@1 "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" 1@1 "Overprotected" 1@1 "Boys (Co-Ed Remix)" 1@1 "Me Against The Music" 2@1 "Toxic" 3@1
Britney has been at number one a grand total of 29 weeks, a far cry from Roger's 85 weeks, but substantial none-the-less.

Without spending too much time scouring my records, the person who has the most songs charted on my chart between her own songs and appearances as a "featured artist" on other artists' songs is Janet Jackson:
(as of Feb. 1996 when my chart first started)
What's It Gonna Be? (with Busta Rhymes): 5 wks. @ #1 All For You: 3 wks. @ #1 Together Again: 2 wks. @ #1 Luv Me, Luv Me (with Shaggy): 2 wks. @ #1 Doesn't Really Matter: 2 wks. @ #1 I Get Lonely (with Blackstreet): 1 wk. @ #1 Go Deep: 3 wks. @ #2 Someone To Call My Lover: 3 wks. @ #2 Son Of A Gun (with Missy Elliott, P. Diddy, & Carly Simon): 2 wks. @ #3 I Want You: 1 wk. @ #7 Girlfriend/Boyfriend (with Blackstreet, Ja Rule, & Eve): 2 wks. @ #9 Got 'Til It's Gone (with Q-Tip & Joni Mitchell): 1 wk. @ #9 Just A Little While: 1 wk. @ #10 All Nite (Don't Stop): #12 (not yet peaked) Every Time: 1 wk. @ #17 Feel It Boy (with Beenie Man): 1 wk. @ #23
Although, there are several other artists that have anywhere from 10 to 15 songs charted on my personal chart...

Avril Lavigne - Discounting the yet-to-chart-but-likely-will "My Happy Ending", every one of her singles, plus 3 album tracks, have hit the Top 5. And except for #2 "Things I'll Never Say" and #5 "Nobody's Fool", they've also all hit #1.
Her biggest is "I'm With You", which was on top for 7 weeks.

i unfortunately didn't keep track of such things (but i am gradually working on it) but on impressions only i'd have to say...
Our Lady Peace: they've had at least 3 songs from each album since "Clumsy" chart, all of which went top 10
Nickelback: 10 songs have charted, 9 of which wen to #1
Puff Daddy/P. Diddy: not as successful as he once was, he still is one of the dominant forces on my chart, he has about 10 (give or take a few) song in which he is lead, and another half dozen (perhaps more) where he is a featured artist

Unofficially since 1987, R.E.M. has hit about 35 times, but only 3 times in the Dan 40 Internet Era began. U2, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers are also up there.
Since the Internet Era began in May 2000 (and I've been working hard the last week to compile this info), two artists have 10 each- Coldplay and Incubus.
Coldplay surprised me, but alt-radio played a lot of stuff by them. Only two hit the top 10, and only "Shiver" hit #1.
Incubus then would be the Net Era champion, because 7 of the 10 hit the top 10 (with "Talk Shows on Mute" climbing currently).

On my chart, Celine Dion has had 40 Top 40 hits, I think. Second place is probably Chantal Kreviazuk as of now with probably 30 or 31. Mariah Carey is near there too with maybe 29 and Alanis somewhere in that area as well. Official numbers aren't up.

This is a surprise to me - I hadn't looked in a while - someone who I've met and from whom have an autographed CD. It's Canadian singer David Usher.
