On Saturday, I was trying to open a database file on my flash drive that I've been working on, and it said the file could not be opened (corrupt file). Luckily, I had another version saved on another computer from last week, so I entered all the missing data, and saved into my flashdrive, overwriting the damaged file. Tonight, I tried to access the file, but now, the *entire folder* containing that file and many others is now "corrupt". It even says the folder has 0 files inside. Does this mean the whole flash drive is defective now? Is there any way I might be able to recover the data? I've already spent hours re-doing work I've done. Thanks in advance.

There are a few things you can do, but your best bet is probably to buy a new flash drive... An undelete program like Active@ Undelete or WinUndelete might be able to bring back some of your files. Running ScanDisk/Error Checking might also be able to repair your drive so that it works properly, however it will make it extremely difficult to recover any of your lost files (if your try to recover them). To run ScanDisk, Right click on your flash drive in My Computer, go to the "Tools" tab, under "Error Checking", Click "Check Now", Check "Automatically fix...", Check "scan for and attempt...", Click "Start"...

Like unpleasant troubles can be used owing to flash recovery. It has all required possibilities for solving out almost every bug associated with damaged or deleted flash info.
