Aight, ya'll, so here's my issue. lol.
Kazaa straight-up sucks. Limewire is awesome, but apparently, there's lots of spyware with it. Ares seems to be alright, but they have a small selection of songs to choose from, and most importantly - I can't get porn from it! lmao. You try to download a video, and it wont play, the video is always corrupted. So annoying.
Does anyone have a better solution? Otherwise, I'm going back to Limewire. lol.

I use Gnucleus, and use my search terms carefully to avoid fungus files.

I use Morpheus, and rarely do I have a problem with it. I'm able to find a very large selection of files, including some obscure album cuts from the 1990's. It's true that a lot of advertisements pop up when you open the program, but you can just hit the minimize button.
Regardless of which program you use, I would always be sure to run Ad-Aware and virus protection weekly, since you never know what might come attached to those files.

Lately, I've been mostly using Shareaza... it's excellent... it connects to 4 networks... Gnutella, Gnutella2, eDonkey2000, and BitTorrent... great file selection... you can get just about any song, movie, or software that you could imagine... certain downloads can take a while... especially ones from the eDonkey network... Great program overall, though... www.shareaza.com/I also use KCeasy and Ares occasionally.

eMule people! since Steph suggested it to me, I haven't stop downloading there, you find 90% of the stuff you're looking for. I started using it since I was on dial-up, and yes, I was able to download porn it took its own sweet time, but it was possible. I usdually download full albums, but i have discovered that when looking for single songs, it's a little bit harder than looking for albums. You just try to connect to the servers with more users. You will soon find out which ones have the files you're looking for.-

I tend to search on isohunt.com, demonoid.com, and mininova.org for files (best sites to get full albums, hands-down) otherwise, I use LimeWire.

I tried Shareaza yesterday night and it's not bad. A little slow sometimes when downloading, but there are a lot of individual songs out there available, if you're looking for them.
Highly recommended (thanks Drew).

Try FileTopia. Lots of good music and videos. Yes. Even those "special videos."

I use both Shareaza and eMule for music.. and Nici for those "special" pics and movies.

To get Shareaza working again, you need to update your server cache. Go to "View / Advanced / Discovery". If you're having problems connecting to the eDonkey network, right click on all the "server.met" services and click "Query Now". If you can't connect to Gnutella, keep querying the "GWebCache" services until you can connect...
