To avoid any sort of possible spyware, whenever a pop-up pops up, click on the X at the top right corner of the window whenever possible. And whenever it's not possible, just press Alt+F4 to close the active window.

Sean, honestly if youve tried scanning your computer and that didnt work, I'd try just taking it to a computer tech., or maybe you know someone who is really good with computers...
When and where did you buy the computer? Usually there are warranties on computers, or you can chose a warranty plan at the time of purchase...

You don't need a warranty. If you're not good with computers, just run system restore like I suggested above. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

No need to run System Restore or make any of the above changes that I mentioned. Removing those three spyware items (Ashlt, conscorr, & wo) from your startup using "msconfig" should be good enough. Just run SpyBot once just to be safe and you should be ok.

OK Dkid I downloaded Spybot from that link you gave me and scanned my computer. Everything seems back to normal. But why Do i still get stuff like this? Thats Spyware/Adware still...it highlights words like 'popups' or sexually explicit things. You may want to run the program again and what i do is run it every week or so to make sure its always clean. hope it helps. ps. the Yahoo Toolbar now comes with the Spyware Remover, you may want to check that out, it may be less complicated.
