Bell Biv Devoe has put out quite a few tracks that I've liked; I'd say "Poison" is my favorite. ;D

#91. Boyzone
Biggest Hit of the 90s: No Matter What
Biggest Album of the 90s: Where We Belong
Other Singles from the 90s: Father And Son, Love Me For A Reason, So Good, Coming Home Now, A Different Beat, Picture Of You, All That I Need & When The Going Gets Tough.
Biography of the 90s: Boyzone were the most popular Irish boy band of the 1990s. They had major success in the British Isles and levels of success in parts of Europe and Asia with six #1 hit singles in the UK.
Boyzone was put together in 1993 by Louis Walsh who is also known as the manager of Johnny Logan and Westlife. Before even recording any material they made a now infamous appearance on The Late Late Show. Their first album Said and Done was released in 1995 and the following two studio albums in 1996 and 1998.
Boyzone was formed by manager Louis Walsh who advertised an audition for boys to form a vocal group. After more than a hundred tried out including a then unknown chancer named Colin Farrell, the band comprised Ronan Keating (who would in time become the group's lead vocalist), Mikey Graham, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, and Keith Duffy. The band played through 1993 and in the early parts of 1994 to anyone who would listen, traveling all over Ireland in an old transit van, playing in nightclubs whilst praying for a record deal.
After months of agony, Polygram signed them up and released the cover version of the Detroit Spinners' "Working My Way Back To You", featuring Mikey Graham and Stephen Gately on lead vocals, something which was not repeated. It reached No. 3 in the Irish Charts. The Boyz became straight stars overnight after being surrounded by mobs of screaming girls everywhere.
Future singles featured Stephen Gately and Ronan Keating together or Ronan Keating alone assuming lead vocals. This led to a light hearted campaign by some fans to "Let Mikey Sing".
The song "Love Me For A Reason" came next. It also gave them a Smash Hits Award for "Best New Group".
They released "Said and Done", their first album in 1995, reaching the top in both UK and Ireland. London's Rock Circus invited them to place their handprints on the "Walls of Hands" besides the likes of Eric Clapton and Michael Jackson.
The group released the album "A Different Beat" in 1996 which contained their first UK number one single, "Words" further number one, "A Different Beat" and the single "Isn't it a Wonder".
After the release of the album "Where We Belong" in 1998 the boyz finally gained the respect they deserved. This contained the singles "All that I Need", "Baby Can I Hold You" "No Matter What" "I Love The Way You Love Me" and "Picture of You". Ronan received the "Ivor Novello" award for "Picture of You" as featured in the film Mr Bean. Wax figures of the boyz were made beside U2 in Dublin. "No Matter What", their best selling single, was voted "Song of the Year".
In 1999, their greatest hits compilation "By Request" was released and another sell-out tour. At this time, due to the threat of a tabloid expose, Stephen told the world that he was gay. The fans supported him and his boyfriend Eloy de Jong. The boyz splintered and took off to pursue individual careers, hoping to reap huge success.
Band Members: •Michael Christopher Charles Graham (Mikey Graham) •Shane Eammon Mark Stephen Lynch (Shane Lynch) •Keith Peter Thomas John Duffy (Keith Duffy) •Ronan Patrick John Keating (Ronan Keating) •Stephen Patrick David Gately (Stephen Gately)
In the six years that they've been together(1993-2000), Boyzone has risen to the top echelon of Ireland's pop music. Dubbed "most promising band of the year" by British magazine, Smash Hits in 1995, the group more than fulfilled predictions. Their first twelve singles reached the top five and they became the first Irish act to have four number one hits in the United Kingdom. Their 1998 tour of Ireland shattered all sales records when 35,000 tickets were sold out in four hours.

#90. 98 Degrees
Biggest Hit of the 90s: The Hardest Thing
Biggest Album of the 90s: 98 Degrees And Rising
Other Singles from the 90s: Invisible Man, Was It Something I Didn't Say, Because Of You, True To Your Heart, I Do (Cherish You), The Gift, Thank God I Found You (with Mariah Carey & Joe).
Biography of the 90s: 98 Degrees is a Grammy-nominated American adult contemporary boy band consisting of four vocalists: brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre, and Jeff Timmons. The group was formed by Jeff Timmons in Los Angeles, but its members are all from Ohio.
Unlike most boy bands, they formed independently and were later picked up by a record label, as opposed to being assembled by a label or a producer (e.g. The Backstreet Boys). They have sold over 10 million records and achieved 8 top 40 singles.
The group was originally signed to the Motown label in the mid-1990s. Their first single was "Invisible Man" which peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their debut album "98°" and their first single "Invisible Man" were both certified Gold. Their second single was "Was It Something I Didn't Say", and their popularity was also growing overseas.
After building popularity with their appearance in the movie Mulan, and singing "True to Your Heart" (a duet with labelmate Stevie Wonder), their album 98° and Rising went 4x platinum in 1998. After the first album, 98 Degrees left Motown for its parent company, Universal Records. All three albums after their first went platinum.
The band's first major hit was "Because of You" (number 3 on the U.S. Hot 100 and number 5 on the Canadian Singles Chart) and went platinum. Then "The Hardest Thing" followed the success by reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified gold.
In 1999, 98 Degrees released their Christmas album "This Christmas", which spawned the top 40 single "This Gift". Within a month after its release the album was certified platinum. The group appeared as featured guests on Amy Grant's 1999 CBS Christmas special, A Christmas to Remember. Nick Lachey was featured on Jessica Simpson's album on the track "Where You Are", which was released as a single and reached the top 40. The group scored a Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit in the U.S. with the single "Thank God I Found You", a collaboration with Mariah Carey and Joe. The single went gold, selling 700,000 copies. It stayed at #1 on the Hot 100 for 1 week and was on the Top 200 Single Sales Chart for 51 weeks. The single went to the top 10 in the UK Charts and the group also received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the same song.

The only Boyzone song I know of is "No Matter What," and I've never actually heard it. As for 98 Degrees, I was a fan. Well, okay...I didn't really dig the singles from Revelation or whatever their last CD was named. But they made good music. "True To Your Heart," "The Hardest Thing," & "I Do (Cherish You)" were favorites of mine. And, although I hated it when it was originally a single, I've come to have an appreciation for "Invisible Man."

I don't know a single song by Boyzone, honestly.
As for 98 Degrees - I'm not a big fan, but they've had a couple of good songs here in there, including "I Do (Cherish You)", and "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)".

#89. Deborah Cox
Biggest Hit of the 90s: Nobody's Supposed to Be Here
Biggest Album of the 90s: One Wish
Other Singles from the 90s: Who Do U Love, Sentimental, Where Do We Go From Here, It Could've Been You, Just Be Good To Me, Things Just Ain't The Same, It's Over Now & We Can't Be Friends.
Biography of the 90s: Her 1998 song "Nobody's Supposed to Be Here" was tied with Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" for having the longest-running number one single on Billboard's R&B 100, a record held for nearly eight years until Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" notched a 15th week at number one in 2006. Cox has achieved nine number-one hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play Chart.
Cox entered the music industry as a backup vocalist for Céline Dion, and after signing to Arista Records, released her self-titled debut album in 1995. The album introduced her to the world and set the stage for 1998's One Wish. The first single from that album, "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here", spent fourteen weeks at #1 on the top R&B 100 charts for the USA, as well as eight consecutive weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

I generally liked Deborah Cox, particularly around 1996. One of the best Canadian R&B singers ever.
