50Scott Helman - "Everything Sucks"Scott gets positions 51 AND 50 this year! He still hasn't matched his Year-End peak's that "Bungalow" and "PDA" did, but he's still doing well 49Jewel - "No More Tears" (2 weeks at #1 in 2020)Now THIS was a nice surprise! This is actually the lowest year-end position for a song that went to #1 for me, and that's only because it fell quickly, but it claims the tied-title of one of TWO of 2020's #1 debuts for me. You'll find out the other soon 48Valley - "Sucks To See You Doing Better"This song has done well enough to claim a Top 50 on my Year-End, despite only being fairly new to my chart! Usually only my core-artists get to claim this, so it's one to watch.47 Allie X - "Hello"
Hello Allie X! I got into this song because I heard it when she appeared as a guest host on Canada's Drag Race. Just loved it.46Paloma Faith - "Gold"Probably the coolest music video I've seen this year, I must've watched it like 20 times. Paloma tends to do well for me on my chart.
45Paloma Faith - "Better Than This"Speaking of! Here she is again with the first single from the recent album.
44Kaylee Bell - "Home"Kaylee is one of those artists that I get annoyed with other people with for sleeping on She is AMAZING! Oh well, more for me.
43Melanie Dyer - "20's"Melanie had such a massive hit for me this year that she probably didn't even need a new single Obviously, watch for that one to appear later. Anyway, this one gives nice nostaligia!
42MIKA - "Tomorrow" (4 weeks at #1 in 2020)The very first #1 for me of 2020 (it spent a further 3 weeks at #1 in 2019), and the last artist I got to see live before Covid-19 struck everything down. Thankfully I've gotten to see a few local acts recently since. I just loved this one, which spent 4 weeks at #1, but it got most of it's Year-End points counted toward last year's chart.
41YUNGBLUD - "Cotton Candy"Catchy-Catchy! This is the first Year-End position for YUNGBLUD!
Coming up...
40 - This British girl group, who make great tunes, had a member leave this year 39 - An American country duo go to the sea 38 - A British group doesn't know if you're not confident 37 - This American legend leads her own path 36 - An English synth-pop act embraces transport technology 35 - An American pop diva/actress pleads with Hollywood 34 - One of America's newest boy-bands abbreviates a Harry Styles single 33 - A grown-up American child-star notices movement near him. 32 - A Kiwi country artist likes the company of another 31 - A Swedish artist has finally been released to bring out this new single!

40Little Mix - "Sweet Melody"The girls have really proven themselves, and as far as I'm concerned are on a similar level to Spice Girls. And how HOT is that music video? It'll be interesting to see how they go without Jesy!39Lady Antebellum - "Ocean"Another late-burner for me, due to the massive success of their previous single for me (which appeared at #54). This was really nice!
38The 1975 - "If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)" (2 weeks at #1)Here's another song that went to the top of my chart this year! What a great song this was from the boys.
37Stevie Nicks - "Show Them The Way"I must say, I certainly wasn't expecting to see a new single from Stevie this year, but man, she delivers every time!
36La Roux - "Automatic Driver"This song came out in January, and reminded me of why I used to like La Roux so much!
35Mandy Moore - "Tryin' My Best, Los Angeles"Mandy has ALWAYS been my girl. While everyone else was a Britney or Christina stan, I was bopping away to Mandy's first two albums. The fact that she's still dabbled in music and hasn't thrown it away completely has been a real blessing for me!
34Why Don't We - "Fallin' (Adrenaline)"How good are these guys? I mean, really! I'm glad they are keeping the boyband culture alive for the younger generation.
33Greyson Chance - "Dancing Next To Me"This boy is really proving his talent and musical versibility! So so good.
32Kaylee Bell - "Be With You" (2 weeks at #1)Now THIS song was one of those songs that I was just walking home to with my headphones in, and realised it needed to be played LOUD and no other way. Of course with how much I was playing it, it became a #1 hit. It was euphoric for me. She is fast becoming one of my country core artists. This means that Kaylee claims the title of my highest charting New Zealand artist in 2020!
31 Agnes - "Fingers Crossed"
Who remembers this girl? Yup! The "Release Me" chick released this catchy number this year, and it ends up in my 2020 Year-End! Agnes also claims the title of my highest charting Swedish artist in 2020!
Coming up...
30 - This American rock-chick sings about being confident in yourself 29 - The first Irish appearance on my Year-End, about the elements and feelings 28 - American country hits the dancefloor 27 - French and Australian sing about their hearts 26 - An American artist sings about the nationality of the main artist at #27 25 - Be patient listening to this Norwegian artist featuring a British artist 24 - An American country artist takes possession of a girl 23 - A British singer-songwriter sings about royal residences 22 - An Australian artist shows off her dance moves 21 - My highest-charting Norwegian artist says it's alright

30Kelsy Carter - "Stick To Your Guns"This is the first song I'd heard by Kelsy, and it was on repeat - a lot.29Niall Horan - "Heartbreak Weather"Talk about consistant hits!28Kelsea Ballerini - "Club"TWO acts with the name Kelsy/Kelsea in this set? What are the chances? This song was just AWESOME!27David Guetta feat. Sia - "Let's Love"And here's my lone French-artist song in my year-end this year, with a little help from Aussie, Sia! So catchy.26Kate Voegele - "French" (1 week at #1)Speaking of the French, here's Kate again with her second entry! This is her highest showing of the year, but of course she took out the win in one of my year-end's with "Only Fooling Myself".25Kygo feat. Sasha Sloan - "I'll Wait" (2 weeks at #1)Norway's second best-performing artist for me this year goes to Kygo!24Kip Moore - "She's Mine" (1 week at #1)Easily one of my most-played songs of 2020!23Freya Ridings - "Castles" (5 weeks at #1)When we get to my Top 25 of the year, these are the huge songs, and this sure as heck was one of them, spending 5 weeks at the top!
22Kylie Minogue - "Real Groove" (1 week at #1)And this song is only fairly recent! But, c'mon, if anyone can do it, it's Kylie.
21Astrid S - "It's OK If You Forget Me" (1 week at #1)Oh man, what a song! So... mature, so real. That will always do it for me. Astrid S claims Norway's highest performing track of 2020!
Coming up... THE TOP 20!!!
20 - Explosions out of SOUTH Korea (instead of their northern neighbours for once) 19 - It's hit-after-hit for this Aussie artist 18 - An American country artist goes old-school 17 - An American pop artist loves a positive facial expression 16 - This Australian artist performs acts of wonder! 15 - This British artist utilizes gravity 14 - Two big-name American artists teamed up to sing about precipitation 13 - An American R&B artist performs a different form of artistry 12 - A British pop-group cover a Melodifestivalen track 11 - An Australian artist isn't quite prepared to admit his feelings

So far I see two songs on my own upcoming list (I have a feeling more are to follow). Glad you got to see Mika in concert! I saw him in 2014, and it was a fun show though he didn't perform anything from The Boy Who Knew Too Much. And I saw Scott Helman in concert a few years back too, another really solid performer.

I like the Niall Horan, David Guetta/Sia and Astrid S ones, the latter just recently making my top 10.
But of course, my favourite of that last set is the iconic and legendary KATE VOEGELE <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

20BTS - "Dynamite" (1 week at #1) Number 20 goes to the lyrically stupid, musically awesome first fully-English track from BTS! They are also the first and only entry to appear from South Korea in my Year-End, so to get this high is a feat!19Samantha Jade - "Back To Back"I was pleasantly surprised to see how well this song performed for me this year, due to a long stint hanging around in the Top 5. Another awesome track from Sammy!18Cam - "Classic"Ohh, this song was AWESOME! The lyrical nostalgia got to me. Cam's highest-performing song for me since "Diane".17Katy Perry - "Smile"Another hit from Katy!
16Kylie Minogue - "Magic"(2 weeks at #1)
Kylie has been extending her lead of most #1's on my chart. She had THREE just this year!
15Harry Styles - "Falling"(1 week at #1)Harry's second #1 for me! And it was a damn good one. His music is definite quality and he gets a #15 year-end!
14Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande - "Rain On Me"(1 week at #1)
Such a catchy track, which is expected of Gaga, whom teamed up with Venti on this awesome, catchy track with a choreographed music video. I just loved it!
13Toni Braxton - "Dance"(1 week at #1)Toni has another hit on her hands with this awesome track! She took out the win for me in 2018 with "Long As I Live" but will have to settle for a damn-good #13 this year.
12Steps - "Something In Your Eyes"(2 weeks at #1)Where did THIS come from? Talk about EPIC stuff from Steps, who were kind enough to give up more amazing music this year! So good. Steps are also the highest charting British artist on my 2020 Year-End chart!
11Tyne-James Organ - "Not Ready For Love"(1 week at #1)
It's currently returned to my #1 position at the time of publishing, so this is my current favourite - his second #1 for me.Coming up... TOP 10!!!
With 90 songs down in my year-end, that leaves...
6 Australian artists 1 U.S. artist 1 Canadian artist 1 Irish artist 1 Japanese artist
(8 of them went to #1!)
Who will take out the 2020 crown?

105 Seconds Of Summer - "Wildflower"(2 weeks at #1)Their first quarantine MV! They sent the green screen around to each others house and put this together! Oh and the song was classic 5SOS, of course. They get a Top 10 Year-End'er! 9Miley Cyrus - "Midnight Sky"(3 weeks at #1)How amazing was this from Miley? Every so often she'll release something pretty epic toward my tastes and this was definitely one of them! It was a big M4BCC hit too! This makes Miley my highest charting U.S. artist of 2020 8Melanie Dyer - "Memphis T-Shirt"(2 weeks at #1)Melanie takes out the title of my biggest Country song of 2020 with this track. It came out late last year, so was a crossover track over both year-end charts and was STILL big enough to claim Top-10 status for 2020. I was pretty obsessed, needless to say.7Alanis Morissette - "Ablaze"(1 week at #1)If I didn't already like "Reasons I Drink" (which appeared at #81), Alanis brought out this beautiful track about her children which just totally touched my heart and ended up hitting the top of my chart! This makes Alanis my highest-charting Canadian artist of 2020 65 Seconds Of Summer - "No Shame"(2 weeks at #1)That music video. That CHORUS! Man, I was obsessed with this one. It went to the top of my chart, fell from the top 10, and went right back there where it belonged. Easily my favourite 5SOS track in a long time, this gives 5SOS THREE entries in my 2020 Year-End chart, and TWO in my TOP 10! Only my core artists can achieve feats like this And that leaves 5!!! It's three Aussie artists, a Japanese artist and an Irish artist, but who are they, and where will they appear? All will be revealed on the final day of this horrible year, tomorrow

And all is revealed... Did anyone guess? 5Lesley Roy - "Story Of My Life"Ireland holds the record for the most wins at Eurovision, and I am holding hope that they will WIN AGAIN with this song at next year's postponed concert, since this year's was put on hold due to Covid-19. I really do hope everything will be back to normal again for the artists to perform. First hit for Lesley for me and she's right into the YEAR-END TOP 5! I don't think I've stopped playing this all year lol.4 Rina Sawayama - "Bad Friend"Who? Rina! That's who! Anyone who followed Julian 's chart this year would have seen Rina all over it (among the Mimi!) This song however was just BEAUTIFUL, and WHAT a vocal. Naturally, the lone Japanese artist on my chart this year is Rina, and it's with this epic song. And if you thought Gaga had good acting in her "911" music video, it's got nothing on this
That brings us to the Top 3, and this year it's One, Two, Three to... AUSTRALIA! (what a surprise) 3 Ricki-Lee - "Last Night" (4 weeks at #1)
Ricki-Lee is no stranger to my Year-End charts (she even took out #1 with "Mirage" on my 2014 Year-End Chart.)Another great track from Ricki-Lee, it was a 4-week #1!Only two songs bettered it ...2 Delta Goodrem - "Paralyzed" (4 weeks at #1)
It's been a while since Delta had a hit THIS big for me ("Believe Again" was also a Year-End #2 for me in 2011, but "Born To Try" was a Year-End #1 in 2003!), and holy wow, what a song this was. And it's back-story! She LOST her damn voice completely - something I had no idea about - and this song is about her being determined to get it back. Thank the heavens! But nothing was beating the biggest song of the year for me. 1Kylie Minogue - "Say Something"(7 weeks at #1)It's two from two for Kylie, and her THIRD YEAR-END #1 ("New York City" - 2019, "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" - 2001) It's also her 4th, and naturally highest, entry in my 2020 Year-End chart, three in the Top 25. This debuted at #1 and stayed there for a massive 7 weeks and pretty much didn't leave the Top 10. I think it's still there And then she group out a gospel version but I had to control myself and give someone else a go. Congrats to Kylie!!!
Thanks for tuning in guys and gals!
