Alright, let's do this!
Ratcat - That Ain't Bad - That ain't bad at all! It sounded like The Strokes mixed with new wave.
The Screaming Jets - Better - This is very late 80s sounding. I like it!
Ratcat - Don't Go Now - I'm a big fan of the college rock sound, and so far all of these songs have it. This has a Britpop lean to it and I dig it.
Ratcat - Holiday - This was pleasant and fun. I enjoyed it!
Hunters & Collectors - Holy Grail - These guys I know a few songs from. I like the groove to this one, it's pretty cool.
The Badloves - Green Limousine - I was secretly hoping this would be a reinterpretation of "Green Tambourine", but what I got was still pretty good. Reminds me of Beck.
Custard's - Apartment - This was very 90s, very quirky. I might not listen to it all the time, but it wasn't bad.
Regurgitator - Blubber Boy - I don't even know how many Regurgitator songs I know tbh, but I liked the grunge feel of this.
Spiderbait - Buy Me A Pony - I've heard of these guys but don't know a lot by them. Some good ol' fashioned hard rock.
The Fauves - Dogs Are The Best People - I agree with this title 100%! Another very 90s tune, I liked it.
Jebediah - Leaving Home - This is like Weezer meets early 90s alternative. I really like this!
The Living End - Prisoner of Society - I heard this once many years ago, but I like it more now than then. Great punk throwback sound.
Regurgitator - Everyday Formula - This one just sounded cool, that's all I gotta say about it.
Ammonia - You're Not The Only One Who Feels This Way - This started out like Australian Radiohead, and then kicked it in during the chorus. Good song.
Ben Lee - Cigarettes Will Kill You - This sounds a lot different than Catch My Disease, but it was pleasant.
Custard - Guys Like That (Don't Go for Guys Like Us) - I didn't like this as much as their other song but it's ok. Reminds me of Blur.
The Living End - Second Solution - I know a few songs from these guys but they don't have this raw a punk sound. I like it.
Grinspoon - Just Ace - I liked the gritty feel to this one too. Why can't songs today have this edge?
Grinspoon - Black Friday - I didn't think Australians had Black Friday lol, I liked the other song more but this was good too!
Powderfinger - These Days - There are other songs off this album I like more, but this is nice.
Jebediah - Animal - This reminds me of fellow Australian rockers The Vines, with a bit more polish. I liked it!
Rhubarb - Exerciser - I love rhubarb! The food that is. This was a fun past-paced song, I like the pop-punk sound.
Area 7 - Second Class Citizen - This was fun too! A good way to wrap up this list.
Thanks Sam, there were some pretty good songs in this list. You guys, don't be afraid to send me music too! New or old!
