300. Nirvana – “Lithium” (1992)I used to be obsessed with this one. I still love it, but three other songs from them have aged much, much better for me. 299. Metallica – “One” (1989)I'm not a huge Metallica fan, but I absolutely love this one. Just an iconic song that helped make them one of the biggest bands in the world. 298. Local H – “Bound For The Floor” (1996)What a kick ass 90's rock song. Too bad this is the most misleading introduction to a band ever - as I learned two weeks ago, aside from this, "All The Kids Are Right", and "Eddie Vedder", they suck! 297. Madonna – “Vogue” (1990)... Really. Do I need to explain this one? ICONIC. Such a fun dance pop song. It collides two things I love - 90's pop and fashion! And the video is one of my favorites. 296. Stars On 54 – “If You Could Read My Mind” (1998)Gordon Lightfoot fans around the world will frown upon me for this, but while I do love his original version from 1971, I am biased towards this one as this is the version I grew up with. A great dance/pop cover of this song featuring Amber, Ultra Nate, and Jocelyn Enriquez. And contrary to what I said in 2006 - no @wife, the album this is from is NOT called "Meh". 295. LFO – “Girl On TV” (1999)Another great pop song that I grew up with. Still love this song. 294. Rainbow – “Street Of Dreams” (1983)Love love loooove Rainbow, and this is one of my favorites from them. Excellent song! 293. Linda Ronstadt – “How Do I Make You” (1980)PAT BENATAR IS THAT YOU??? Seriously, if nobody told me this was Linda I would've thought it was Pat. I love everything about this!! 292. Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram – “Somewhere Out There” (1987)This is one of those songs that I knew for years and loved, but I truly had no idea who it was until four years ago. One of the many reasons why Linda Ronstadt is a QUEEN. 291. Tori Amos – “Precious Things” (1992)Gonna tag @xfer for this one. This was one of the first Tori songs I ever loved. It just kicks so much ass, and as the angsty, pissed off at the world 12 year old I was, the more ass kicking, the better. Also, the line, "So you can make me cum, that doesn't make you Jesus" alone is iconic af. Tori has five more songs still to come! 290. #2 hit from 1982 that was later covered by Mariah Carey. 289. Hot Donna Summer remake! 288. A band who had not one, not two, but THREE different singers. This song was from the second singer, who only did one album with the band. 287. The third single from this 80's album - while the first single was a huge #1 and the second was a top 10, this just missed the top 10. 286. An album track from one of the most famous albums of the 70's that still gets regular airplay today. 285. Here's another song from the same album as #286, except this was a single. 284. My favorite song of the 60's that isn't by Grace. 283. The debut single from one of my favorite bands of the 70's. 282. A 1980 hit from one of my biggest core artists. 281. The debut single from the band formerly known as Jefferson Airplane.

Can't argue with the Nirvana song there, classic song from a classic album! That Metallica song is one of their best and I am still completely dumbfounded that something that heavy was a top 40 pop hit. Love that Madonna one too, always been one of my favourites of hers. I remember how completely dumbfounded I was when I heard that "If You Could Read My Mind" remake, but it surprised me because it worked so well and turned the Gordon Lightfoot classic into their own. LFO - another quality tune from one of the best eras ever in pop music. And those 2 Linda songs are among her bet - I always thought "How Do I Make You" especially would be something you'd love, and judging by this list, I was right.

Metallica were quite often on the Rage Top 50 Countdown when I was a kid, so I grew up with a fair bit of their stuff. Moreso 'Unforgiven 2' and 'Fuel' that I remember rather than this one. 'Vogue' is just great, but not my fav song from her. 'If You Could Read My Mind' was AMAZING!!! I too grew up with this one Still love it. Looks like I need to listen to more Tori if she's writing lyrics like that

290. Journey – “Open Arms” (1982)One of the best power ballads ever. Absolutely love it. 289. Ozzy Osbourne – “No More Tears” (1991)Such an epic song! One of the first Ozzy songs I ever loved. 288. Rainbow – “All Night Long” (1979)YASSSSS this is such a bop! I was listening to this one recently. So freaking good!! I remember the first time I heard this on Eddie Trunk's show back in 2008, I instantly became obsessed. Great song! 287. Heart – “There’s The Girl” (1987)A lot of people aren't crazy about this one but I always loved it. Every time I listen to it, it reminds me of when I first started getting into Heart. 286. Fleetwood Mac – “The Chain” (1977)This is such a bop! One of their best. 285. Fleetwood Mac – “You Make Loving Fun” (1977)My favorite song of theirs with Christine on vocals. 284. Cream – “White Room” (1968)This one kicks so much ass. Definitely one of the heaviest songs of the 60's, and my favorite non-Grace song of the decade. 283. America – “A Horse With No Name” (1972)Iconic 70's classic. Definitely one of the best songs of 1972. 282. Heart – “Even It Up” (1980)This song is super catchy and one of their most well known songs for a reason. This whole album was great. 281. Jefferson Starship – “Ride The Tiger” (1974)What an awesome introduction to the Starship era! Love this one. 280. This is taken from the same album as "Ride The Tiger" 279. Possibly my favorite song of 1970. 278. The first of two appearances for the artist Courage calls Lames Taylor. 277. #13 hit from 1990. If you're a chart whore, and you know who my faves are, this one should be a piece of cake. 276. A boy band ballad from late 1999/early 2000. 275. Speaking of Courage, when he found the CD single for this at a record store the second time I met up with him and FreakyFlyBry, my exact words were, "I WILL FIGHT YOU FOR IT." I had no intentions to fight by the way, that would be silly. 274. The first appearance for a song from my all-time favorite album. 273. Same artist as #274. 272. This alternative hit from 1996 is from one of the many celebrity M4B Radio supporters! 271. The signature song for this German heavy metal band.

That Journey one was such a classic power ballad. Still love it. Ozzy was at his best there, one of my favourites from him. That Heart song was good but they've had better (and I'm sure they have many more to come!) Both of those Fleetwood Mac ones are excellent. The Cream song is such a classic! Also one of my 60's favourites. That America one was a great introduction to one of the best bands of the 70's. I always wonder if the horse eventually got a name. And of course, another great Heart song! And what would that set be complete without Grace? Another bop from her.

280. Jefferson Starship – “All Fly Away” (1974)My favorite on "Dragonfly". I wish this was a single. This one is so epic and I love when Paul and Grace sing together! 279. Elton John – “Your Song” (1970)My favorite Elton song. A classic. 278. James Taylor & J.D. Souther – “Her Town Too” (1981)My favorite JT song where he's the lead artist. Absolutely love this one. 277. Heart – “Stranded” (1990)My favorite song in "Brigade" and one of their most underrated ever. SUCH a good song!! <3 276. Backstreet Boys – “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely” (1999)It's crazy that this song is almost 20 years old when I remember when it was out. Used to see this video on VH1 and MTV all the time. Great song. 275. Natalie Imbruglia – “Big Mistake” (1998)Here’s another one I remember being obsessed with. This was one of my first albums and this was an instant highlight for me. There’s a reason why I was willing to fight Courage for this CD single. 274. Alanis Morissette – “Hand In My Pocket” (1995)An iconic single from my all time favorite album. 273. Alanis Morissette – “Hands Clean” (2002)I remember being OBSESSED with this when it was out and buying the CD just days after I moved to Florida. Excellent song. 272. Tracy Bonham – “Mother Mother” (1996)Here’s another song that kicks ass! Definitely a huge favorite of mine from 1996. 271. Accept – “Balls To The Wall” (1984)One of the most kick ass metal songs ever!! Love it. 270. Who is "But Darren"? 269. The #1 song of 1989. 268. A 70's classic rock song that was covered by Letters To Cleo in 1996. 267. The debut single from one of the biggest female singers of the last 30 years. 266. My favorite Bond theme. 265. Grace Slick’s least favorite song on the 1978 Jefferson Starship album, “Earth”. 264. A punk band from the 90’s who were Book Clubbed in 2016. 263. @xfer’s all time favorite song. 262. One of the earliest examples of a song with a pro-LGBT music video. 261. A Courage from 1997.

Of course, yet more Grace! What else can be said about her? Love that Elton one, a simple love song can be very effective, and 48 years after its release, it still stands as a classic. That James Taylor one is definitely one of my favourites from him. Can't argue with a classic Heart power ballad either. The Backstreet Boys were among the greatest pop acts of the TRL era, and that was one of my favourites from them. Natalie was great back then, she should've had more success with that one, radio ignoring it was a "big mistake". Two great Alanis songs there too And the Tracy Bonham song is an underrated 90's female rock gem too.
