It's the list that gets more love than all of my countdown videos combined! The Ke$hit list is here!!! There were a lot of contenders this year, believe me. Narrowing it down to 20 was hard, but ranking the finalists was even harder. The top of the list changed at least 3 times during the compiling, but here we go with the worst of the worst of 2017!! THE 2017 KE$HIT LIST 20. Aaron Carter - Sooner Or LaterLet's just get this one out of the way. We all shit on Aaron Carter, however given his personal year, his stint on The Doctors, the death of his father, I was kinda pulling for him, but unfortunately he once again failed to deliver with this generic EDM borefest that any random DJ could've made by pushing a button (oh wait, that's how most EDM songs are made, nevermind...) 19. Chainsmokers - Paris"Something Just Like This" was more overplayed than anything but this is just another "whatever" song. Another song I tried giving a chance to, but terrible lyrics, and more genericness just made it another fail. 18. Julia Michaels - Uh HuhI tried getting into Julia Michaels. Issues went top 20 for me, before crashing out due to gross overplay. "Worst of Me" looks to be stalling for me, but Uh Huh is one I tried to like, but the more I heard it, the more annoying it sounded. Her specialty is songwriting, but this is more like leftovers. 17. Zayn f/Partynextdoor - Still Got TimeZayn... you know I love you. You had my #1 song of 2016. You've had 3 solo #1s for me. You've topped 2 year-end charts with One Direction. Zayn... this is shit. You know you can do better than this... 16. Why Don't We - These Girls"Something Different" made top 20 for my chart, and I had high expectations for these guys, but when this came out as their second single, I wondered if they would be one hit wonders for me, or if this would just be an "oops, my bad" moment. Let's pray for the latter because this is just plain stupid.

The only one I'll disagree with is the Chainsmokers, I actually didn't mind that one. I never expected Complayn or a boyband like Why Don't We in your worst list but those two entries are warranted as both were disappointing. Didn't really care about the Julia Michaels one either way, it was just there for me, I guess she saves her best writing for other artists. Thankfully I managed to avoid the Aaron Carter one.

15. DJ Khaled f/Whoever - I'm The OneIrrelevent DJ rents Bieber for a verse and gets a hit. It's the story of 2017. This is just repetitive and stupid. 14. Machine Gun Kelly & Cabilla Cabello - Bad ThingsBad things pretty much describes this entry. Completely ruined a Fastball classic with this level of idiocy. Camilla Cabello is not the next messiah of music, stop acting like she is. Both of these acts come at a dime a dozen. 13. Kendrick Lamar - Humble. We're obviously in the "what's the appeal" section of the countdown. Humble is more like Mumble. I don't understand why people think he's such a rap god. 12. Fall Out Boy - Young & MenaceThe verses are meh to begin with, but then you get to the chorus and there's not enough hydrogen peroxide to clean out the infection left in your ears! 11. Katy Perry - Bon ApetitThe entire "Witness" era for Katy has been a disappointment, but this oh so clever ode to oral sex has just gotta be the worst. We need Firework, Roar, The One That Got Away, etc... we don't need anymore Peacocks. I'll leave you guys guessing what's in the top 10.

Well, you've got a set I pretty much agree with there. DJ Khaled... what a mess, the only reason why that one particularly was a hit was because of Bieber singing the chorus. Will be on my worst list too. "Bad Things" was a huge mess, and total ruination of a Fastball classic, plus that no-talent whore Camila does no favours with her grating voice! I do respect Kendrick Lamar's talents as a lyricist but that wasn't a great representation, wasn't a fan of the beat on that. And yeah, "Young And Menace" was a huge disaster. Of course it's much higher up in my own list! This whole Katy Perry era had a lot of disasters, but "Bon Appetit" was a huge mess, and the random rappers were unnecessary too. She clearly can still do a great song if she wants to... and here she didn't want to. I predict Bodak Yellow will be #1.

Completely disagreed on Bad Things, it's a rare exception where I prefer a different version of a song over a late 90's version of the same song - spent 9 weeks at #1 for me.

10. KYLE - iSpySeriously, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP??? That's all I can really say... 9. BTS - Mic DropYou can essentially put any BTS song in this position and it wouldn't make much difference. They all sound the same and they all suck. I do not understand why they are so big right now. 8. Noah Cyrus - Stay TogetherIn a desperate attempt to one-up big sis Miley, Noah gargles out this completely age-inappropriate, immature MESS. She's 17, singing about stuff that would make random rapper blush, and feels it necessary to swear every other word. 7. Iggy Azalea - Mo BounceIggy... um... you expired about 2-3 years ago. Nobody gives a crap about you anymore, we all know you're about as genuine as a $3 bill. I'm not sure if Mo Bounce is her being in on the joke, or just desperately trying to top this list, but either way... just stop. 6. Black Bear - Do Re MiThis is just plain terrible. Dude, you're 27-years old and you sound like a 13-year old throwing an auto-tuned tantrum, throwing in a Sound of Music sample. Grow up!!

The only one of those I didn't mind was the Noah Cyrus one though it wasn't really anything special either.
Never heard the BTS one.
Totally agreed on the rest, especially "iSpy" which is everything that is wrong with mumble rap - would I believe I ranked it even higher on my worst list?

5. Lil Uzi Vert - XO something...There is just no justification as to why this thing even got a record deal or even an underground shot. As he is now referred to as the emo pretentious mumbler, this is just a horrifying moment in 2017. 4. Lil Pump - Gucci GangOh hell no. First of all, any rapper with Lil in their name you know they suck. Second, and rap "song" that mentions any designer you know is gonna be garbage. What makes Gucci Gang stand out from all the other dime a dozen "I'm so rich, I f**k all da hoes" randomr appers out there? Lil Pump has the brilliant idea to make it as un-enunciable as possible with the exception of the obligatory swears. 3. Cardi B - Bodak YellowOh HELL to the no! Another one of the stupidest "innovations" to come from 2017. Cardi, you are no innovator, you are a regurgitator and from the sounds of the mumbling, it sounds like you were regurgitating while you were recording. Everyone said Cardi B would be #1, but yes there was worse this year. Who got it??

Three of the WORST songs this year, for sure. Three matches there (including my #1 worst), although I think your Lil Uzi Vert song was a different track to mine.

I like both the Cardi B and Lil' Pump songs; Lil' Pump is currently #16 for me, and Cardi B peaked at #20.

2. Migos - Bad & BoujeeNo just stop, you had it right at bad. Although bad is too kind of a word for this crap. Another viral "song" that was completely unnecessary. We have enough garbage about f*ckin hoes money and doing drugs. 2017 is certainly the year we took this genre to deplorable levels. And the absolute WORST song of 2017 is surprisingly NOT MUMBLE (C)RAP!! 1. J Balvin & Willy William - Mi GenteIt's bad enough that this song's success was nothing more than a ripoff of Despacito's formula (put an English singer on there who doesn't understand spanish and send it to top 40 for a free hit). However take anything that made Despacito halfway decent (before the gross overplay) and throw that out the window. Now add production that sounds like one of the artists in the song recorded himself masturbating make the rest of the song completely unlistenable (the first time I heard this "song" I shut it off about about 45 seconds, I already had a headache) and you've got yourself the worst song of 2017!

Never heard the #2, don't want to.
And yes, "Mi Genitals" needs to f*ck off. The goat noises make it even worse than it would've been normally, and overall it was a huge disaster.
