Well, you got three out of three, which is very good.
174) This artist was a one-hit wonder for several years.
172) Said band was from the midwest. A key word in my clue referred to the other half of the duet.

Very good.
For the remaining song - we've already established that one half of the duet used to be in a band from the midwest. The other half starred in a sitcom produced by the same trio who produced Cheers.

That is indeed the song! (One that I don't think I've heard since its chart run in the fall of 1995!)
170) During the late 1990s, this band seemed to be intermittently releasing songs from their first two albums. This was the first one from their second album.
169) When I first heard this song, also from the 1990s, I was sure it was the new song by the Rolling Stones.
168) The top ranked song on the list by this jazz great. It could be about a lady or possibly even a street.
167) This song has the same title as the only Top 40 hit by an Irish boyband. Both songs charted in the 1990s.
166) This artist was done hitting the Top 40 by the mid-80s. This song, which was a Top Five AC song, was the follow-up to his last Hot 100 entry.
GOOD LUCK!!

Correct on all three of those.
168) This song might leave you breathless.
166) This was the second single released from the tenth studio album by this man, who is no longer with us. The first single hit the Hot 100, but not the AC chart because it was too upbeat for the latter, but apparently the next two singles were too mellow for Top 40, as they only made the AC chart.

Those are correct - and I'll betcha I know what the winkyface after the Kenny G song means - "No. Just no.", right? Anyhoo, here is the next batch of songs: 165) The final Top 40 hit from my folk music idol! (Though he did have a few AC hits afterward). 164) A Diane Warren-penned song about a couple who broke up, but only one of them has moved on and the other one is none too pleased about that! 163) This R&B artist had a few Top 40 hits, but this song only peaked in the 80s on the Hot 100. Kind of a shock, as her previous hit, which was her debut Top 40 hit, was a Top Ten. 162) This song was one of two songs by the same artist in the AC year-end Top Five of its year. The other one was from a movie starring the artist who sings it, along with one of the Kardashians - well, sort of. This song was actually considered for that movie, but was ultimately rejected. 161) A song that had two chart runs, but was included as one, since the second run was basically a remix of the same recording. GOOD LUCK!!

Actually I meant I caught the Bob Welch and Night Ranger references. 165. Gordon Lightfoot - The Circle Is Small? (guessing as you've met him) 164. Chicago - Look Away? 161. Real Life - Send Me An Angel?

Actually I meant I caught the Bob Welch and Night Ranger references. 165. Gordon Lightfoot - The Circle Is Small? (guessing as you've met him) 164. Chicago - Look Away? 161. Real Life - Send Me An Angel? Ah, I just thought about that right as I was clicking the "create post" icon. Anyway, you did get the first one correct. 164) This song was more recent than "Look Away" - by a vocal trio that was on hiatus (from the charts) when the Chicago song was charting. 163) This artist posed in the raw before she became a singer. 162) This woman has a very unique singing voice, courtesy of a certain facial feature. 161) Very good guess, but that song was actually considered a new recording. I seem to recall that this song's "weeks charted" stats were combined with both chart runs.

164. Expose - I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me? 163. Vanessa Williams - Darlin' I? 162. Barbra Streisand - My Heart Belongs To Me? 161. The Four Seasons - December 1963 (Oh What A Night)?

Very good!
160) The second of two AC hits from this jazz vocalist from Los Angeles county, California.
159) This band deliberately misspells the first word in their name.
158) This artist had two Top 40 hits in the 80's, one of them a number one. This song just missed becoming her third Top 40.
157) We all know that Michael Bolton wrote "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" and recorded his own version of it a few years after Laura Branigan charted with her recording. This was a similar situation. The version by another artist charted around the time Bolton's version of "How Am I..." was released.
156) A song about a married couple for whom things did not turn out as planned, but they're content with themselves nonetheless.
GOOD LUCK!!

159. Led Zeppelin - Fool In The Rain? 158. Kim Wilde - You Came? 157. Patti LaBelle - If You Asked Me To? (covered by Celine Dion) Wow, I guess I came up with a few tough clues! You did get #158, though. 160) One of this artist's songs already came up in the game. She has the same first name as an artist involved in a #1 duet in the mid-80s. 159) The band misspells their name so people pronounce that first word correctly. This was their first hit that fell short of the Top 20. 157) Ironic that you should guess her, as she's also involved with the song in question (as well as another reason that I'll mention after the song is guessed). 156) This artist's last two hits are his only Top Ten hits (on the R&R chart).
