My last weekly chart of the year was this past weekend, which means the next two weeks of charts are frozen weeks due to (a)lack of activity, (b)my lack of listening to currents in favour of xmas music, older music, yearend charts and doing other things in general, and (c)time to tabulate yearend charts. Since I use excel to keep track of my charts, the last one doesn't apply anymore so my yearend chart is already complete!
I haven't done a point-based yearend chart based on my weekly chart in ten years. I stopped doing them because I never liked the results and couldn't come up with a formula that I felt was an accurate depiction of what my yearend chart should look like. So instead, I started doing a rogue yearend Top 50 that was completely independent of my Top 100. This chart is what I consider to be my personal official yearend chart.
A few weeks ago, I finally came up with one that works well enough for me so I decided to go back and do one for each of the last ten years just to see how they would have looked. I also made one for this year just to reflect on the year's worth of charts. Before I post this year's Top 100, I'll post the Top 20 of each of the years of my chart from 1998 onward as a quick review, with 2005 onward being newly tabulated.

Wow, I didn't expect "Only Fooling Myself" in your top 20 of 2008, great to see Kate did so well for you with that one! I'm expecting "Helman" by Scott Bungalow to be your #1 of 2015.

Here's the first half of my Top 100 of 2015 based on my weekly charts for 2015. The points came from the 52 weeks from January through to the end of December 2015.
With each song is its yearend position, the number of weeks it spent inside the Top 100 for the 2015 calendar year only and its peak position in 2015. If it charted in 2014, its weeks weren't counted here. Only one song on this year's yearend chart also made it to last year's yearend as well. Songs with a * are still in the weekly Top 100 chart.
In 2015, 508 songs made my chart, the third most in any year. 228 of those made the Top 40, 82 made the Top 10 and 17 reached #1.
These are all the songs to hit the top in 2015: Bungalow - Scott Helman [9 weeks] {+4 weeks in 2014} From You - William Fitzsimmons [1 week] Bloodstream - Ed Sheeran & Rudimental [3 weeks] Blame It On Me - George Ezra [2 weeks] In The Morning - Trews f/Serena Ryder [2 weeks] King Kunta - Kendrick Lamar [2 weeks] Photograph - Ed Sheeran [3 weeks] California Dreamin’ - Sia [1 week] Cheerleader [Felix Jaehn Remix] - OMI [1 week] King - Years & Years [2 weeks] Jackpot - Jocelyn Alice [1 week] Let The Night Fall - Dragonette [5 weeks] First - Cold War Kids [3 weeks] Shine - Years & Years [6 weeks] Eyes Shut - Years & Years [1 week] Hello - Adele [4 weeks] When We Were Young - Adele [4 weeks]

I'm honestly surprised that is the only Trews song you've charted, I'd have thought you'd chart them more as they're from Nova Scotia. I've charted a fair amount of their stuff (mostly in the last few years) though I have missed a lot as well. No surprise at all that Scott Bungalow is #1 with "Helman" and has another top 10, as well as the double Ed Sheeran in the top 10.

I forgot they were from Nova Scotia! That means NS has 2 of the Top 10 of my yearend chart. Wow! I also realize that happened before too in 2009 when Jenn Grant and Joel Plaskett both made the yearend Top 10. Besides those, only Sarah McLachlan and Melanie Doane have made a yearend Top 10 and both did it twice but never in the same year.
