"Real World" is also on my list, one of their best songs! LOVE "State Of Love And Trust" "The Edge Of Glory" was good, I wish it did better on my chart. I've actually never seen the video. "Round Here" was good. Don't think I've heard the Alter Bridge song.

Round Here is great. The Edge Of Glory is close to my top Gaga if it isn't. And Real World is awesome.

Love every song in that set. "Happy?" remains one of my heaviest personal chart hits. That's good to hear. All this time, I thought you disliked "Diamond Eyes" from Shinedown. It's not their best single but I still like it. Another great set again, with Alter Bridge, Lady Gaga, Pearl Jam and Matchbox 20.

35) "Best Of You" - Foo FightersIs someone getting the best of you? Back in the summer of 2005, everything was getting the best of me. This song, which is my favorite from the Foos, was an anthem for me back then. This has also always been a favorite of my dad's and it's hard to get excited for their newer material when I still have this to listen to. 34) "Civil War" - Guns N' RosesWhile Axl may have gotten flack for writing songs like "One In A Million" and "Used To Love Her," he never got the credit he deserved for penning this awesome song about war. It's been said that all war is civil war, and this early '90s rock hit captures that theory perfectly. 33) "Right There" - Nicole Scherzinger featuring 50 CentAside from the obvious fact that it's Nicole Scherzinger, I want to tell you just how much I love the production on this track...I actually had the instrumental on my own phone. It's that damn good. It has a summery, dreamy feel to it that I can never get enough of. Combine that with Nicole singing a catchy tune and my favorite rapper dropping a couple verses and you have one of my favorite pop songs of all-time. The video was also great; perfectly capturing the spirit of summer. 32) "Isolation" - Alter BridgeWhat's this, back-to-back songs that topped my chart in 2011? You bet. Sometimes the perfect songs come along at the perfect times, and this is an example of that. After 18 months in isolation, this was an anthem for me when I finally enrolled in community college. 31) "Through Glass" - Stone SourBack in 2007, I went through a phase where this would have ranked at #1. Now it ranks here, just outside of the top 30. While it was written by Corey Taylor about his disdain for Hollywood, I have always liked to think that it can be taken as something much more important. Either way, this is a song where burnout has never been an issue for me.

I like all of those songs except the Alter Bridge one which I don't know, however, I actually HATED "Best Of You" when it first came out. LOL.

I remember you calling it a scream-fest at some point. Great set! Nicole sticks out like a sore thumb. Yeah, I can't deny that.

30) "Whistle" - Flo RidaWe enter the top 30 with the highest-ranking pop song on my list: this sizzler from 2012. With a catchy whistling hook, fun (often misunderstood) lyrics and a killer bridge, Flo Rida created what in my mind is the perfect summer song. This topped my chart back then and it still sounds great three years later. While it does take me back a bit, it also keeps me looking forward to having better summers in the future. 29) "The Gift" - SeetherWhile perhaps one of the least-known singles from Seether, this is by far my favorite song from the South African rockers. With somber, soothing guitar riffs and some heavy lyrics, this has been an easy one for me to relate to since discovering it back in 2011. One way of interpreting it is that the "gift" is life, which some people are simply afraid to live. 28) "Counting Blue Cars" - DishwallaIt doesn't get much more '90s than this. A big hit from 1996, "Counting Blue Cars" represents everything I love about that decade: memorable, mysterious riffs, good vocals and deep lyrics. I always loved how he sang about God as being a female. To me that is very unique. The guitar work in this song helped it be suitable for a host of different formats over the years, from Active Rock to Hot AC. You just can't go wrong with this great one hit wonder track. 27) "Vicarious" - ToolIf it's a very hot and humid day, you can bet your boy KP is walking around somewhere listening to this. With vicious lyrics, relentless guitars and some definite Middle Eastern influence, this song sounds perfect on the most dangerously hot of days. I've always thought this would make a great entrance theme for a villainous pro wrestler. 26) "No Excuses" - Alice in ChainsWith its unforgettable drum intro, drawn-out vocals, fun guitars and catchy beat throughout, this song is deservingly one of the most well-known hits from Alice in Chains. A go-to for me on cool, cloudy and rainy days, it's a song that you can never go wrong with. You'll find me sitting by myself, no excuses that I know...

Dishwalla and Alice In Chains both great, Flo Rida's was a guilty pleasure for me but he's had better.
