LOL Of course it's not true, the article calls Lita a princess when she's clearly a QUEEN.

And Gotye is a KING, so they're perfect for one another Yeah, the king of one hit wonder-ville Nah, Gotye is the new Sugar Ray. "Somebody That I Used to Know" is the new "Fly", Kimbra is the new Super Cat in that she'll never be heard from again, and Gotye will seem like a one-hit wonder because his first mainstream album only produced one hit, but then his follow up will have 3 monster hits I got it all figured out.

I thought that Gotye wasn't making music anymore.

I expect a huge sophomore slump because it'll sound so ~different~ from his one and only hit. Can't see Lita going INDIE. like that either. Besides, Austrian-Australian? I thought Gotye was Belgian-Australian

He is Belgian yes. The commotion over him was because he was this awesome underground Melbourne artist that the hipsters loved and followed to all his gigs. Then somehow, some "big-shot" got a hold of "Somebody That I Used To Know" and the song spread like wildfire, so when that happens, the groupies deserted him. I mean, why would they want to stan after a *gasp* NON-Indie? I assume after he wiped out our entire ARIA Award trophies and the Grammy that he went to live off in the hills somewhere... with his weird-ass instruments and Baa-Baa-Black-Sheep soundtrack. However, he's hardly a one-hit wonder where I am, as you'd expect, so maybe he's decided to make his other songs just shitty enough to maintain some thread of dignity toward his lost hipster stans. Kiwi-Kimbra's still trying to ride on his fame, although I am currently charting her new one, which is a rare feat in itself cos all of her other stuff has been absolute bile between her collab and now.

This isn't the place to say "Somebody That I Used to Know" was your #1 song of 2012.
