That sucks for him. It's a hard situation to be in. He wasn't a star when they first married, so who would've thought to do a prenup? On the other hand, it sounds like she's been the one marketing him and making at least a few of the business decisions with his career. She should get some money out of the divorce. Very messy! I'll refer to my first sentence. That REALLY sucks for him!

Unfortunately if a lengthy marriage goes south, then unless the parties settle between themselves, it's pretty close to a 50/50 split, at least in most places in North America and I guess in France.

I disagree with many of the splits made in acrimonious splits. As an example, Michael Jordan losing 45% to his wife was ridiculous. But, I honestly don't believe "David Guetta" as a public persona internationally famous DJ existed as a one-man team. From what I understand this was a two-person show. Perhaps she does deserve half? DJing at the level of David Guetta is certainly a skill. But the marketing may be equally important. A 50/50 split actually seems fair to me in this case unless I'm missing something?
