This might appeal to you. More of a Josh one, but this is probably the best active rock ballad out right now. Pretty amazing lyrically too.

This one surprised me, as I usually don't like Pop Evil, but this was very good! Reminds me of a song that would've charted on active rock around 2005/2006. Tagging Jawshii since I also think he would really like this one. Thanks brotha!

Since you're a 70's whore, you might appreciate a new song by Orleans Meh. It's not bad but it's definitely no "Still The One" or "Dance With Me".

And I got Media Source to listen to Avenged Sevenfold back in the day, so we're even.

Here's one who clearly draws all of her influence from the 90s alternative/pop ladies like Alanis, Sarah, Sheryl, etc. Not indie sounding at all and it may appeal to you. Just broke the alternative top 40.

This one is a bit out of left-field. A British hard rock/heavy metal band with a power ballad and a chorus that sounds like Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way". It fits the song nicely and because of that you MIGHT like this one haha. I know you usually don't care for the genre, but if I didn't think there was any hope, I wouldn't recommend it lol.
And yes, I realize it has the exact same message as Pop Evil's "Torn To Pieces" which I also whosed you lmao. I swear to God it's just a coincidence haha.

Like pop Evil, I usually can't stand this group (although not as much as some OTHER people do FreakyFlyBry), but this one is pretty good. I'm not a fan of the singer's voice though, and I prefer "Torn To Pieces", but I'll add this to my bubbling under!
