1. ''Get Right'' - Definitely one of the stronger tracks on the album. This is an enjoyable track if you are not bothered by the horns. - 90%
2. ''Step Into My World'' - Excellent choice for putting it in as track #2 on the album. This song definitely sounds like something Brandy will do. The high notes were a bit ''awkward'' at times. Her vocals seem to be quite soft in this song. - 80%
3. ''Hold You Down (Featuring Fat Joe)" - I really don't understand why Epic/Sony has chosen this song as the second single. This is much worse than ''All I Have''. I guess maybe it's because the chorus is sing-a-long-able? Once again, her vocals are rather soft on this track; and I have no clue why. By the way, the album version is 4 minutes 32 seconds long, versus the radio edit which is 3 minutes 56 seconds long. - 60%
4. ''Whatever You Wanna Do'' - This is the type of tracks I am looking for in a J.Lo album. This one should get everyone on the dancefloor. This is a track Christina Milian may be able to do, I think. Did Rich Harrison produce this track? - 95%
5. ''Cherry Pie'' - This is definitely something different from all other tracks on thw album. Does anyone know who produced this upbeat track? - 75%
6. ''I Got You'' - ''Another Darkchild classic?'' No! This track is weak, period. - 35%
7. ''Still Around'' - Was she trying to make a second ''Still''? Well, if she was, she was largely unsuccessful. This is just one of the filler tracks that reminds me of ''This Is Me... Then''. - 40%
8. ''Ryde Or Die'' - So like I said in an earlier post, apparently Brandy didn't include this track on her ''Afrodisiac'' album, so guess who got the track, Jennifer?
The track is not bad at all, except that it sounds almost identical to how Brandy would sing this song... - 70%
9. ''I, Love'' - This is another filler track that reminds me of her last album. This is the type of tracks that I don't really want her to do, but she just keeps on doing them. Gah! - 45%
10. ''He'll Be Back'' - This Timbaland-produced track is another highlight from the album. This is an enjoyable track. Is it just me or does she love using the word ''still'' in her songs? - 90%
11. ''(Can't Believe) This Is Me'' - I love the instrumentation on this track - the drums, the piano, the strings. Her vocals are much stronger on this track compared to other tracks on the album. Wait, was this the track that was produced by Marc Anthony? - 85%
12. ''Get Right (Featuring Fabolous)'' - See ''Get Right'' comments above. - 80%
Overall Grade: 70.4% B-
Overall Comments: The album has its highlights and lowlights, with her performing much weaker with those mid-tempo R&B tracks. Maybe it just has to do with personal preferences. Rich Harrison has definitely put magic on a couple of the funk tracks on the album. Does anyone agree that R&B is not really her thing? I find her having much better sounds when she's doing more in terms of pop/dance/funk but not R&B. One of the weaknesses that this album has is the relatively soft vocals of Jennifer. It seems like soft vocals + mid-tempo = Disaster (as shown by the grades I've given out for certain tracks).
