My votes are already in. I don't think it's set in stone, but I'm expecting Royals to be #1. Get Lucky for #2 probably and after that, anything.

hey music fans... voting has opened for this so if you'd like to contribute your votes go for it, they do love when they get international votes as they keep a tally of where votes have come from!!! last year saw: Vance Joy come in at #1 and #95, Lorde come in at #2, #12 and #15, Daft Punk come in at #3, #17, #49 and #58, Arctic Monkeys at #4 #6 and #18, Chet Faker at #5 and #65, Lana Del Rey at #7, The Preatures at #9, London Grammar at #10, #35 and #61, HAIM at #11, #27 and #56, James Blake at #13, Kanye West at #20, #59 and #73 (as a featured artist), Disclosure at #23, #63 and #69, Birds Of tokyo at #22, Rudimental at #24 and #47, Chvrches at #28, #37 and #60, Grouplove at #33, Bloc Party at #36, Robert DeLong at #45, John Newman at #50, Fatboy Slim at #51, A$AP Rocky at #79 This year sees some gems by Vance Joy, Lorde, Milky Chance, Zhu, Calvin Harris, Pharrell Williams, Angus & Julia Stone, Chet Faker, Lana Del Rey, Glass Animals, The Black Keys, Hilltop Hoods, The Avener, Duke Dumont, Faith No More, Sia, alt-J, Peking Duk, Ball Park Music Even Hozier (who isn't on the list) seems to have received a few votes. to vote you need to select 10 songs from this link... www.abc.net.au/triplej/hottest100/14/be interested to hear if you guys vote. usually there is a stand out #1 but for a second year in a row there is no real stand out!!! you can also #hottest100 and post your votes on instagram with some artists even taking the time and thanking those who vote for them!!!

voting has closed!!!
the burning question is if taylor swift will make it or will triple j veto any votes for her due to public campaigning as it breaks one of the rules for the countdown!!!
taylor fans banded together annoyed at the fact she wasn't shortlisted as one of the over 2000 songs in the voting list using the #tay4hottest100 to get her to feature if not get the most votes to be the #1 song!!!
triple j being an independent radio station supports independent artists to which taylor isn't one hence why she was excluded from the voting list!!!
previous countdowns have featured artists who have earned enough votes to appear in the countdown and got there on their own merit without being on the voting list or without a public campaign to get them to feature in the countdown!!!
guess we will find out on monday if she makes it or not!!!
