Imagine Dragons - It's Time
I kept thinking the lyrics were:
"It's time to begin, is it in?".....

Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home Actual: Cause you're a good girl and you know it Misheard: Cause you're a hooker and you know it Totally changes the meaning!

In Panic! At The Disco's "Miss Jackson" I thought the chorus was "Miss Jackson! Miss Jackson! Miss Jackson! Are you lusty?" when really it's "Miss Jackson! Miss Jackson! Miss Jackson! Are you nasty?" Because that's way more appropriate

Tom Petty, "Refugee" Misheard: "No, hey, it's a little like a refugee" (which really doesn't make much sense anyway, but I first heard the song when I was quite young and didn't know the meaning of the word 'refugee') Actual: "You don't have to live like a refugee"
The Animals, "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" Misheard: "See my daddy in bed, goodbye" Actual: "See my daddy in bed, he's dying"
I don't know if this counts, since it's not really a "misheard" lyric, but in the third chorus of Katy Perry's "Firework", I would bet my life that she says "Fireword" instead. I clearly hear a D at the end, and not a K, every time I hear the song.

I just thought of 2 more examples:
Thin Lizzy, "The Boys Are Back In Town" Misheard: "The boys of Beckingtown" (I thought they were singing about boys from a place called Beckingtown.)
David Bowie, "Space Oddity" Misheard: "Ground control to major tongue" Actual: "Ground control to Major Tom" (The way the British pronounce the vowel in "Tom" is still shocking to me, even to this day. I'm used to speaking a dialect of English where "Tom" and "rum" absolutely don't rhyme, and "nut" and "not" aren't homonyms by any stretch of the imagination.)

George Takei shared this on facebook today. I couldn't stop laughing at Shania's and Eiffel 65's

I just thought of another example:
Beatles, "Penny Lane" Misheard: "And Elaine is in my ears and in my eyes" Actual: "Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes"

England Dan & John Ford Coley - "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight"
Misheard: "I'm not talkin' 'bout the linen" Actual: "I'm not talkin' 'bout moving in"

In Lady Gaga's song "Venus":
Actual: Take me to your Venus (to the planet) Your Venus, Your Venus
What I hear: 'penis' instead of 'Venus'... it REALLY seems like Gaga says that. LOL

The Tori Amos nostalgia I've been having recently has made me think of this, and I only found out the real line like two or three years ago lmao
At the end of "Professional Widow", for YEARS, my 12-year-old self thought she was saying: "Give me peace, love, and a heart, yeah!"
But she was really saying: "Give me peace, love, and a hard cock"
Needless to say, I now love the song even more.
