While the Online Archive is still a work in progress, I worked on a little bit easier, but informative task - to create an M4BCC Top 40 Archive!
There are four pages By Artist - links are below. They contain the following information from the Globalchart and M4B Top 50:
SONG # - Ranks how many songs each Lead Performer has had in the Top 40. If a featured performer has never had a Top 40 hit, they do not have their own listing. There is duplication with songs that appeared on both the Globalchart and M4B Top 50 when those charts were running simultaneously.
CHART - GCM - Globalchart Monthly; GCB - Globalchart Bi-Weekly; GCW - Globalchart Weekly; M4B - M4B Top 50; GCT - Globalchart Top 100. The chart identified is the first chart on which the song appeared. Again there is duplication with Globalchart and M4B Top 50.
TITLE - self-explanatory! But below some song titles are the complete artist listings, i.e. with featured artists. Also below the title in some cases are listings of songs that re-entered the Top 40 (this does not include those that re-entered the Top 100).
MTH - month of entry
DAY - day of entry
YEAR - year of entry
PEAK - highest peak attained
# CHARTS AT PEAK - how many appearances the song had at its peak. Other than for #1 songs, the M4B Top 50 entries do not include this information.
# CHARTS ORIG - again, because some songs started on one chart and finished on another, and because of the moves from monthly to bi-weekly to weekly, the original amount of appearances have been identified
# CHARTS TOTAL - months and bi-weekly appearances have been converted into weeks - those entries shaded in Green are songs that appeared for 30 weeks or more. This column includes the total weeks that the song appeared on any chart, including the Top 100.
Songs that reached #1 on any chart are shaded in Yellow. Songs that reached the Top 10 are in bold. Where there were entries on the Globalchart and M4B Top 50, the entry on which they attained their highest peak is in larger point, and the lower entry is in smaller italics.
If you have any questions or comments, they will all help this archive get better, so please post them here or send me a PM.
Thanks and enjoy!
