Well I really liked all the songs 20-11, so a great update! Can't wait for the final 10. ;D
Kylie, Mariah, Killers, Nat. Imbruglia, Gwen and Garbage all made my year-end and that Chemical Brothers one from early 2005 is great. I still feel bad for not giving it a decent chart run back in Jan.

To those who have shown interest in my year-end, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to you. So let's unveil the top 10 already.... #10U2 - Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own -Bono gives an emotional performance with this one. This was clearly a winner during their SNL stop. You don't have to put up a fight You don't have to always be right Let me take some of the punches For you tonight

#9The Game featuring 50 Cent - Hate It Or Love It -Simply one of the best hip-hop songs of the past year whether you hate it or love it. Go'head'n envy me I'm rap's MVP And I ain't going no where So you can get to know me

#8Coldplay - Speed Of Sound -There was absolutely no escape from this song when this was first released. Chords reminiscient of "Clocks", "Speed Of Sound" gave critics and fans alike a reason as to why they've become one of the biggest bands of the new Millennium. "Speed Of Sound" was an excellent choice for the single -- simply atmospheric. And birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand

#7..... ........... Madonna - Hung Up -Released during the late part of 2005, "Hung Up" has become of one of the biggest hits of the year. This marks Madonna's incredible return-to-form, offering one of her catchiest dance singles to-date. Every little thing that you say or do I'm hung up I'm hung up on you

#6..... ......... ................................................. Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl -Just missing the top 5 of the year, this quirky number was a hit waiting to happen! As obnoxious as it was, and as different as it was, it went on to become of one of the biggest hit of the year! In fact, it went on to introduce one of the weirdest lines of 2005: this sh*t is bananas! A few times I've been around that track So it's not just gonna happen like that Cause I ain't no hollaback girl I ain't no hollaback girl

U2 = solid, timeless tune. Coldplay -> AGREED. I was completely fascinated with it at the time of release.
Madge & Gwen? Dancefloor heaven. You got a case of serious chart goodness my friend.
Keep it up.

#5............. ................. ....................... The Killers - All These Things That I've Done -It's a shame this didn't do as well as their previous singles, but that doesn't mean it isn't a fan-favourite. This could possibly be their signature song with the line "I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier". Great tune. Over and out, last call for sin While everyone's lost, the battle is won With all these things that I've done All these things that I've done If you can hold on If you can hold on

#4*drum roll* Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone -This became one of her biggest hits earlier this year with this Max Martin number. It's a solid pop-rock song. An excellent choice as the first single (yes, FIRST single). Great song. You really have to crank up the volume to enjoy the song. But since you been gone I can breath for the first time I'm so movin' on, yeah yeah Thanks to you now I get what I want Since you been gone
