Mariah Carey #100! She deserves to be much higher. Same with Lindsay! But I'm glad they both made your year end! The Used & Hope Partlow back-to-back! Nice. DHT #88!!! Come on, this deserves to be way higher. The unplugged mix is one hot song. Full Blown Rose #84!!!! "Somebody Help Me" was huge on my chart in 2004. And it did very well on the year end too. I'm glad you decided to chart it this year. Avril #83!!!! Great song, I wish it was a single though. So I could've charted it. The Veronicas #79! That's hot. Kelly Clarkson #78!!! This song deserves to be much higher though. Nickelback #69!!! That's my favourite number. Lindsay Lohan #68!!! YEY. Carrie Underwood #66. Brie Larson #60!!! Glad I'm not the only one with Brie on my year end. OMFGZZZZZZZZ ALEXZ JOHNSON #55!!!! YEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Ryan Cabrera and Cold back-to-back. That's hot.

#10 Cascada "Everytime We Touch"Peak: #2 Cause everytime we touch I get this feeling, and everytime we kiss I swear I can flyCascada had a great here on Gimpy's Top 20. Though never hitting the top spot, "Everytime We Touch" was on my playlist for months. Its now starting to make waves on U.S. radio, so Cascada could have a great year in '06!

#9 Groove Coverage "Poison"Peak: 3 Weeks @ No.1 Your cruel device your blood, like ice One look, could kill My pain, your thrill...Groove Coverage's "Moonlight Shadow" is a great song, but I didn't even know the artist until late last year. After looking through their site, I found out that they did a copy of this Alice Cooper song! GC's version is totally awesome, and hit #1 early in '05.

#8 Within Temptation "Memories"Peak: 1 Week @ No.1 All of my memories keep you near. In silent moments, Imagine you'd be here.Sharon's AMAZING vocals on this track make it one of my favorite ballads of the year. The video being stunningly amazing doesn't hurt at all either. Within Temptation had a break out year on Gimpy's Top 20, and they still have one song left on the chart.

#7 My Chemical Romance "Helena"Peak: 2 Weeks @ No.1 Whats the worst that I could say? Things are better if I stay So long and goodnight So long and goodnightMy Chemical Romance had a suprise #1 hit in '05 with "Helena." I liked this song right off the bat, and the music video is one of my favorites in '05, if not the best! 2 Weeks @ No.1 for MCR, and they are #7 of 2005 with "Helena"

#6 Anastacia "Pieces of a Dream" Peak: 3 Weeks @ No.1 And I could see it clearly once When you were here with me And now somehow all that's left are Pieces of a dreamThe follow-up (Well, for me at least), to the mega smash "Everything Burns" (still to come), "POAD" did very well on the chart, giving Ana her first solo #1 single. Although I didn't like the video, that didn't hurt this song at all.

#5 Ben Moody ft. Anastacia "Everything Burns"Peak: 5 Weeks @ #1 All of this hate And all of this pain I'll burn it all down As my anger reigns Til everything burns Much like the Punisher soundtrack last year, The Fantastic Four soundtrack was the best this year. Producing over 3 chart hits, and 2 #1 hits, it was a great album! Ben and Ana teamed up, and I was very impressed. Not hearing Ben actually sing before, I wasn't sure if the Ex-Evanescence member could sing, but DAMN, he's got a great rock voice! That and Ana's amazing vocals as well propel this song to the top 5 of '05!

#4 Full Blown Rose "In the Light"Peak: 7 Weeks @ No.1 My broken wings will never fly Lift me up and justify I’m standing up, I’m standing out I feel the warmth come crashing downWow...this song is amazing! From the Elektra soundtrack, which also made me discover Megan McCauley, FBR do a great job on this track, hence the long time at #1. 1 of 3 songs to spend 20 or more weeks on the chart, which is very diffucult to do!

#3 Bif Naked "Abandonment"Peak: 3 Weeks @ No. 1 well you packed me away in the trunk of your car. you drove me so fast and so far. i tried to fight but its so hard. the only momento is this scar.
(chorus) where were you when i needed you? somethings missing, and i can't breathe. where were you? where were you? somethings missing. you abandoned me.
oh when you look deep into my mind. that is so tired and weak from this life. on the verge of fear all the time. i feel like you left me here to die.
(chorus)
shaking in my boots, you shook me down. you really took me down. shaking my foundation, not to be found. never to be found.
where were you? where were you? you abandoned me. you abandoned me. you abandoned me.This was the BALLAD OF THE YEAR. Such an amazing track from Bif, its hard to imagine anything better for '05. She really shines on this track, and the vocals are quite amazing too. Also had amazing longetivity, on the chart for 20 weeks. Spent over 10 consecutive weeks in the top 3 as well!

#2 Within Temptation "Stand My Ground"Peak: 4 Weeks @ No.1 I can see when you stay low nothing happens does it feel right ?
Late at night things I thought I put behind me haunt my mind
I just know there's no escape now once it sets its eyes on you but I won't run, have to stare it in the eye
Stand my ground, I won't give in no more denying, I got to face it won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside if I don't make it, someone else will stand my ground
It's all around getting stronger, coming closer into my world
I can feel that it's time for me to face it can I take it?
Though this might just be the ending of the life I held so dear but I won't run, there's no turning back from here
Stand my ground (repeat chorus)
All I know for sure is I'm trying I will always stand my ground
Stand my ground, I won't give in (I won't give in) I won't give up (I won't give up) no more denying, I got to face it won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside if I dont make it, someone else will
Stand my ground, I won't give in no more denying, I got to face it won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside if I don't make it, someone else will stand my groundWithin Temptation were the new band of '05... this song was actually #1 this time last year, and into early 05. It's their best yet, and thats saying a lot! "Stand My Ground" also had an amazing video to boot, and Sharon can definately sing a song. Wow! I was giddy over this band last year, just because of this one song! But, who could possibly have a better track? We'll see!
